Leicester v Chelsea (PL) Sat 11th Mar 2023 15:00 GMT

In the minority here but I don't want to see Mudryk start. Given he had barely a pre-season and was ill he is clearly not match-fit and needs to be blooded in slowly to avoid the pressure building on him.

Fofana is a must, bound to score against his old team.
So when does he start? He needs to start playing games or his confidence will sink lower anyway.

Think it would be best to bring him off the bench for now (certainly ahead of Pulisic).

As of now, Felix, Havertz, Sterling is our best front three and best we continue it so they gain more cohesion and sharpness heading into the final end of the season.

IMHO the key to us winning matches is the speed at which we 1) play the ball and 2) get it up the pitch and into the danger zone.

Chopping and changing players and systems slows us down and makes us ineffective - the play becomes slow and it's easy for the opposition to get players back and defend their box.

Not rocket science, but if we do what we've been doing more recently:

1) make lots of changes to the team and

2) run for the first 20-25 minutes and then put our feet up

We're not going to win.

I hope both Fofana and Chilwell start as the Foxes fans will be on to them and raise the atmosphere, think our players might rise to a big game atmosphere.

Even better if one of those scores.

No problem if once in front Potter closes out the game, if our players look knackered and they are coming on looking fresher it makes sense to me.

It really should not matter who the starting XI is.  We have a great squad depth. AND with 5 subs per game. We should be able to bring 16 players on to the pitch who are capable of beating the Foxes.

That said, our last away win was ten games and nearly half a year ago.

Both have come back from serious injuries. I'd rest both of them and James.

Despite their awful form , I've always thought they look very dangerous eg v Spurs earlier and Saints the other week.

Very dangerous game for us if we're not careful

I wonder how the lesser spotted Mudryk’s ‘pre season’ is going. Maybe today the 90 million pound future Balon d’Or winner will be given the last five minutes to start building up some match fitness and confidence and start the long slow adaption to the completely different world of football that is the EPL.

He can't play because of lack of match fitness.

He hasn't got match fitness because of lack of playing time.

Catch 22

Reminds me of trying to secure employment years ago.

Recruiter - "We can't hire you because you have no experience".

Me - "How do I get experience if no one hires me?"

Recruiter - "Get a job"
Job centre said they were funding retraining schemes,  it was up to me to tell them what  job I wanted to be trained in

Me .. burglar alarms ? Nope don't fund that

Me.. Locksmith?..Nope no funding

Me ... Can you just give me the list of stuff you fund ?

Nope...it's up to you to tell us what you want. .Only you know what you want, we can't guide you !
