He does produce the goods in fits and starts - he's certainly not been producing at this level all season though. As for the Messi comparison - thats fine and well, but Messi has scored 46 league goals in 32 games this year, whilst Bale has got 21 goals in 34 games. He's greedy, but to be fair to him he produces the goods. Not only that, he really has nobody to pass to in that attack other than Lennon. Look at Messi and look at how many dribbles and shots he takes on - it's never considered greedy because he actually manages to score.
I certainly hope that he wouldn't take that opinion if Torres is still with us next season, and has gone a fwe agmes without a goal. He's never been asked to fit in to a team of superb individuals - just to carry an above average team, which he has done admirably (just like Gerrard did for the Scousers). Asking him to be a more selfless player is a different role altogether, and his current role wouldn't fit into Chelsea's style of play, so why pay top dollar for a player who excels when being given the freedom that, with our attacking players, he wouldn't get here? He's "greedy" because Defoe, Adebayor and Dempsey are sh*t and that's his role in that team, to score goals not set up goals.
Bale is on another level compared to Schurrle. No other club is interested in Schurrle on CFC, which is a mystery.First off Spurs wont sell to us or to any English club for that matter and secondly we are buying Schurrle who is a similar player. Not that bothered about Bale.
Obviously Bale is another level but Schurrle has similar traits to Bale and has alot of potential himself and is probably £40M cheaper.I don't know why you always bring that up that no other club is interested in Schurrle what does that prove?. There are loads of good players who sign for a specific club and only that club was interested in them, doesn't demise a players ability, its just about opinions.Bale is on another level compared to Schurrle. No other club is interested in Schurrle on CFC, which is a mystery.
i remember no one being interested in ronaldo eitherBale is on another level compared to Schurrle. No other club is interested in Schurrle on CFC, which is a mystery.
Exactly i remember Blackburn nearly signing Lewandowski, 3 years on and top clubs in Europe want to sign him.i remember no one being interested in ronaldo either
and a lot of man u fans were quite underwhelmed by that signing
Don't be daft. As much as Mourinho loves Drogba, he knows we need to move forward and that Drogba's time has gone.I would say if mourinho comes in there would be a greater chance of drogba signing than either ronaldo or bale
Aston Villa and Martin O'Neil were close to signing Falcao back in 2006 for 5-6 million!Exactly i remember Blackburn nearly signing Lewandowski, 3 years on and top clubs in Europe want to sign him.
I didn't think they were close to signing him i thought they were offered him but Villa turned down the chance to buy him.Martin O Neil is an idiot anyway you only have to remember that he didn't think Gary Cahill was good enough and sold him and preferred Richard Dunne and James Collins.Aston Villa and Martin O'Neil were close to signing Falcao back in 2006 for 5-6 million!
Lol, yes, and Beckham saying "never heard of him" in a derogatory tone - mind he was on his way out at the timei remember no one being interested in ronaldo either
