Was in the car listening to the Newcastle v City game and heard Pool went 1 nil up . bo**ocks i thought , they'll murder them now. Then it happened , 1-1 and im thinking , please god let them drop points at home to Wigan. And they did.

I think Callista summed it all up really , he's punching abover his weight in the Premiership, he's not got to grips with the english game yet and never will. Whats it , 4 years in charge ?

Iv'e never liked the fat c**t but disliked him even more when he refused to comment on Jose's exit from Chelsea , even Wenger showed a bit of dignity and an element of sportsmanship , Fergie, Harry, Coppell, R.Keane , but not Benitez . Personally i think he was jealous of Jose , the success, the charm , the character , the high profile and the good looks , all ingredients Benitez will never posess so f**k HIM and his team.

Who was the player on the edge of the area that Ickle Stevie passed the ball out to?

I'll be honest, I thought they'd walk all over Wigan, so avoided the commentary and sat down to watch the final episode of the first season of Carnivale (which I've only recently got into), so had a very pleasant surprise when I discovered that the self-delusional ones had failed to grab all three points. That a whole 90 minutes plus injury time went by without a SINGLE PENALTY AWARD TO SAINT STEVEN the G(it) obviously had a lot to do with it.
I was the same. I was revising and I had the BBC Sport text updates page on and I turned my computer off and went and played some 360, thinking Liverpool would win quite comfortably.

Imagine my joy about 2 hours later when I went onto BBC Sport and saw the score

On the Xbox when you should be revising? Tut tut. How do you expect to pass your exams? You don't want to spend the rest of your life serving burgers do you?

Thanks for the link to the goal, what a strike! Great assist too from the saint.

Any clips of the reaction of the fans or Tubby at FT? Especially the booing, then the look of the mousers faces as they walk off.

Beautiful site, even more so than Jake Gyllenhaal... well no okay, maybe not, but still wonderful

I saw the highlights last night on Sky and it was an absolute pleasure to watch. They had an incredible montage of Fat Rafa throwing myriad tantrums during the game, including one incredible bit where he picked up a tracksuit top and chucked it on the ground again, like a kid who'd just been told he wasn't getting any chocolate cake.

Lovely stuff.
