Man City Charges

Some people have brought it up, its not my fault you havent read it.

I dont think we are a well run club.
I think we would have a lot more debt if PSR didnt exist.
I think with this ownership, we could be at risk of genuinely being run into the ground, PSR provides a gate.

Again, I dont think we are a well run club.

I think Villa and Newcastle have the opportunity to overtake us in the future. However both of those clubs have a history of being relegated to the championship, the former in particular because PSR did not exist. Because they were so badly run into the ground as they exceeded their revenue chasing - and failing to achieve - champions league places.

I'm almost certain that it was you who first brought Bournemouth into the comments. " Some people have brought it up " ?
One person brought it up ........ YOU

So another US Finance Conglomerate can sweep in and tilt the scales in their favour for all PL voting.

Welcome to ‘International Series’ PL fixtures moving forward.

Got to be very very careful with how harsh the punishment is as it could be to the detriment of the league in the long run.

Just look at how Scottish clubs handled Rangers, they killed their own league by baying for blood and and that’s BARELY close to recovered over a decade later.

Not saying the PL is a 2 team league like that but going too hard on City will only strengthen the likes of La Liga, Serie A and an ever improving Ligue 1.
The PL is very competitive, but it has been a 2 team League in regards to the title winners.
In the roughly 11 years before we first won it , Utd and Arsenal were the only winners with Blackburn winning once.
Since we last won it, City and Liverpool have been the only winners with Arsenal winning it just once. . Arsenal and Liverpool have been multiple 2nd place runners up .
So a 2 team dominated League for decades with an odd Leicester or Blackburn.
Blackburn of course won it with the benefit of the owners spending spree. Not allowed now though.

So it’s back to Arsenal winning back to back to back titles followed by Utd when they get their sh*t together, as it was in the 90s. The rest of us will scrape for a cup here and there and the crumbles the two teams leave for us. Some in here will be happy.

Tottenham and Liverpool will also be up there.

If we can build a new stadium, we have a chance of sitting at that table. Otherwise I see us drifting into that next group of teams longer term, Villa/Newcastle etc.

It'll take many years and billions of pounds (including planning permission) to build a new stadium , which isn't going to happen anyway..
Your prediction about Tottenham being "up there" made me chuckle 😂

UEFA is monitoring the situation for a potential action but based on what standing? I also don't get on why they could then opened and then passed sanction in the first place if it's a non-case from the beginning due to their 5 years limitation rule. If they have such rule then they really don't have any standing to even demand 10/30 mils fine. It makes sense if city sue them for wasting time and money on that non-case.

If UEFA really want to upheld the rule accordingly then they should do properly by opening the case within the their 5 years rule limitation, I'm sure 2018 is not the last time city practice their so called 'sham' contract. Looking at the spending spree of PSG then it's also quite obvious for them to have breached the ffp in 1 way or another. is this thing can only be exposed if the said club self report them or through leaked documents?

The position I was replying to was united and arsenal will scoop up the titles. Why? Because they have a lot of revenue.

Tottenham are at the level revenue wise that when they crack the sporting side they will be able to win titles. I think they are actually better placed than united because United's ownership and debt levels are a real problem. Tottenham at least are trying to be better - they are just failing

We are falling behind because we don't have a stadium that can bring in the revenue. We are 6th in revenue size, we will fall to 7th or 8th if we don't get a new stadium. We will never go to 4th or 5th without one.

That's what will matter over the next 20-30 years.
