Mathis Amougou

None of the young players were harmed by this so why would you be upset.
Disagree with that, Amougou has had 6 months of no football with us, hindering his development. As so many of the 50 other players in the team. This is the very definition of harming someone's career for the possibility of a greedy board making a few bobs.

Amogou is 19. He got what he got from the stint he was here. Talk to top players, learn from them, see the life of a top footballer. Now he is going to a club that will play him on a good level. I think that boy is very lucky.

Good luck to him. Will hopefully get the playing time he needs, and be happier in France. If he blossoms into a really good player, then the option is there.

That tier A list looks a little tight to me - Noni will make a sizable dent, but if limited to that list, it will take one of Trev, KDH, Guiu or Jackson to get us there.

The additional clubs sales are interesting as they create the room we need to sign a CB, but perhaps not in future Uefa years.

edit - Nuknku should be on that list also, and will close the gap.

Well this is just a blatant lie.

Physically they may not be hurt but a lot of careers have been stalled.

D.D.Fofana

Chukwuemeka

Washington

Ugochukwu

Wiley

Anselmino

Guiu

Amougou

Kellyman

Jorgensen

KDH

Please explain how any of these players have developed better than they would have staying at their own clubs or going elsewhere.

What do you mean? They were lucky to be trained by Maresca and talk to Jackson! What else can they ask for in life?

Evissy will do the usual of either completely ignoring or replying on a tangent to avoid criticising anyone involved with the club.

How do you know what Amougou wanted from his time at Chelsea? Nobody knows, but I would guess he wants what we all would want from a new employer: that our talents are actively used. Another guess is that any footballer not named Winston Bogarde wants to play, not just to talk to other players.

Fuukssake.

Oh no not Amougou! he's my favourite player have his name on the back of my new Chelsea shirt and everything. What a travesty watching him play was like magic, a modern footballing artist. He'll be sorely missed.

I'm not gonna lie , I don't understand the A list concept. .

Are there other lists, B and C . for example

And how do they figure in transfer regulations or in allowable squad numbers etc ? or in anything else . ?

Thanks

So the argument was his development will suffer by this 6 month stint by not playing. I don't think it has. He has trained first of all with much better players and seen the surroundings of a top team. If we asked him I'd be pretty sure he's loved his time at Chelsea but wants to play games. To just state bluntly he has suffered from this time as a 19 year old player I don't buy it.

It is possible that he has suffered naturally but he made the decision to come. It is his responsibility and his team. He decided to come and he knew he had Caicedo and others in front of him. If he has a brain he knows his path might be a bit more complicated than just to step in to the side.

I think his path to Chelsea now that he is with Strasbourg is pretty sweet compared to many others that have travelled through Chelsea.
