i think he never recovers from the suspension and is time to sell him. One of year of sh*tty performance no one would even make a bid on him and he would just become another Mikel 

 
there's talk of juventus wanting him, and even real madrid are interested with rumoured fee to be in the region of £34 million. 

 
He must be doing something that I'm just not seeing to be valued at 34m.  Even Conte seems to rate him highly as he is most likely a started in our team.  Can someone help me understand what's going on here?

 
I think the price is mainly because of how beastly he was a year or so back. If he gets that form back for any other team he would be a bargain. Doesn't look like it'll happen at chelsea though so may as well get rid.

 It's things like this that has us fans feeling frustrated.. manager that has a soft spot on certain player that we think not up to standard.. both jose & hddink annoyed me in that department, is conte going to follow the trend?

For me he was the most important player in the title winning season and it showed last year when his form in particular dropped.  We know this as well, hence the prices being quoted are so high, we wouldn't let someone that capable go for any less.

 
Juve and madrid are both apparently desperate for matic, id be happy to see him go as long as we get a centre back in return. Varane and rugani are both not in either teams starting 11, maybe its about time we held clubs to ransom.

Matic is easily replacable, in fact i think chalobah could step in.

 
Juventus and Madrid are desperate? I like that, say 40M? I'd cash in on him, and I don't think a player who could only play with 1 food will make it to the Madrid team.
