The experience is only part of it, what you do not get to see on television is the whole aspect of the match, i.e players making runs off the ball, tussles between players off the ball etc. etc.
With regards managers using tv/sky footage to analyse performances.
You do realise that conte doesn't watch sky sports replays don't you, you complete bellend, the replays they watch are filmed especially for that purpose, the whole thread is telling you that you're wrong and you just can't bring yourself to admit it, disgusting attribute to have to be that emmersed in arrogance.
No way for me to prove it, but I would guess majority of the time any live/tv viewer's eyes follow the ball. A run of the forward is as much on the peripheral of a tv screen as on a live match viewer.
Watching live is certainly better than watching on TV if you're only going to view the game once. There's no question in my mind though that watching tape or replays is the best way to judge a player or team if you want to sit down and analyze a match. I'm not sure which you're referring to but as a one off being there live can't be beaten
Could not agree more. Only ever realized how frustrating a player JFH was after i saw him live. It is impossible to see even half the work players are doing or not doing on TV for me. You see the action zone, you see what the professionals want you to see. BUt you can't see anything of the ball. Most people think abotu strikers but what about the defenders holding the line, tracking players unrelated to the play at that time.
It's pretty obvious to anyone with a clue why watching live or whole game aspect is more important even in replays they watch at times the whole game aspect, a birds eye view wouldn't make good action viewing for sky.
It was always great fun watching jimmy and eidur together, Jimmy basically standing still with eidur running around desperate hunting for space. No wonder Jimmy said he was his favourite striking partner, he did all his work ha ha...
You don't think Conte and his coaching team analysis matches with videos after the game? It's pretty obvious to anyone with a clue why watching live or whole game aspect is more important even in replays they watch at times the whole game aspect, a birds eye view wouldn't make good action viewing for sky.
Matches look more Hollywood on tv but live like you said you see what the rest of the players off the ball are doing, getting back into shape, running in the passing channels to stop passes, marking, holding the line, you see none of that on the tele except in flashes.
It doesn't matter what you tell some people even when they know they are wrong they will still argue, a player like Costa especially should be seen live then this half season bollox would be put bed, even when he isn't playing his best watch what he is doing off the ball, it's the best part of his game.
it amazes me that someone thought Conte sits down with sky sports footage and analyses matches
Nobody said anything of the sort. What was said is that Conte will not just be relying on the Sky broadcast as shown on the telly. The backroom team will be watching an incredible amount of footage for every match. What some twat said was that you could get as good an understanding of how a match played out from just the Sky broadcast as you could from actually being at the match and being able to see all of the players and all of the pitch not just the bits that the Sky director chose to show.
I think you're being a bit of a knob while not reading what I wrote, did you miss the bit where I said they watch special footage allowing them to see more aspects of the game? So yes the team have specialist footage provided by third party companies which allows them to look for deeper analysis, otherwise he would have to fast forward the bits with Souness with his face tripping him and the adverts for M and S roast beef, and as we all know that can really derail the analysis.
Still trying to learn where the acceptable line is I suppose, make a sarcy, belittling comment ok, saying doing that is a bit of a knob move not ok? I'll certainly work on the delivery because where I think you're correct is passive aggressive people get away with murder whereas shorter fused upfront people always get landed in it, no matter how honest their intentions may be, good tip.
Wtf is wrong with you. Everytime I come on this forum you are attacking and insulting people. There is no need for it. Sourness talks a lot more sense than you.
Ahhhh don't go jumping on the bandwagon because coco reprimanded my colourful phraseology.
I wasn't having a go but found it rather odd you was trying to compare Pedro to what Costa has done or simply find an excuse. I was actually going to call you out on it earlier but I know I would have received a message of the mods telling me to let them do their jobs. Had enough experience of this forum. Once you name call me that's a different story.
Alright mate I'm sure you're hard as coffin nails but try reading what's written before going off, it was clearly not pedro playing the guitar wake up would you it was a joke and I never said anything of the sort that the coaching staff do t watch footage, I said the opposite so that's 2 unnecessary confrontations you owe me, before that never said a word to you pal.
Nah I'm weak as piss but just something I wouldn't accept that's all. I admit I got it wrong by just reading you're reply and not the whole conversation.
