Maurizio Sarri Officially Appointed

You have no idea what you are talking about.

Juventus had finished 7th two seasons in a row before Conte got there and he was the one who restarted the Juventus-dynasty in Italy.
And he never spent much money doing it, in fact he left the club after three years because the board didn't want to spend money.
Well i clearly do know what i'm talking about..

Juve were also a sleeping giant with a plethora of wealth. They finished 3rd in their first season back in Serie A following their scandal. The two years before Conte were plagued with presidential changes, a managerial merry go round with awful appointments and a relocation of stadium. The ship was always going to be steadied, it just happened to be Conte that did it.

What about Sarri with Napoli then, underachieved until Sarri took them to a 90+ point season and forged some of the greatest players in that league. Will Conte be able to do that with Inter? i doubt it. Sarri achieved more points (91) than Conte managed in his unbeaten season with Juventus (84).

Juventus will walk the league next season like they normally do whoever is in charge, already signed Ramsey and De Ligt and looks like Rabiot is on his way, there squad is quality.
That is a given; but he is not there to win Serie A, he is there to win them the CL.

I wont be surprised if he is sacked in 2 years.

Everyone quotes Conte's managerial ability from his time at Juve when he had the funds to do the exact same thing in the same league.

Inter are also spending big this year.

Surely the superior manager is the one being picked for these top jobs and not the one who no one wanted for a year and has ended up at Inter?

Now who'd making daft comments.
Juventus are adding superstars to a squad already filled with superstars, Inter are quite abit away from Juventus and from what I have read are having to sell to buy.

Juve have been doing that for years, Sarri managed to challenge them with Napoli so Conte should be able to with Inter if he's such a great manager.

So what? United are also a sleeping giant and have been sh*te for six years now and no manager have steadied that ship have they? Juventus were a complete mess and in turmoil before Conte got to them. And no they didn't buy their way to success when Conte took over, it was his ability and system that did that. Go check their transfer-record during his time there and you'll see that for yourself.

We were also a complete mess when Conte came here and he took us from 10th to Champions.

You can come back to me when Sarri takes two clubs that have finished 7th and 10th respectively to Champions in one season. Then he'll have something to be proud about. not winning some B-competitions facing sh*te teams throughout.

Can't wait for Conte to make Inter Milan champions in his first year next season then.

Don't forget that exact Chelsea squad won the league the season before we came tenth...

Even if he did you'll probably find some excuse to claim Sarri is better.

First off, I've got no interest at all in the rest of your post. The part I've underlined/bolder in the other hand, reflects an attitude that I'm not at all fond of. To put it mildly.

Oh and I'm not here to defend Sarri either. He's gone, f**k him, as has Conte. History,. get over it.

Where was I? Oh yes, "Some B comperition". Nowadays, since the demise of the Cup Winners Cup, there are a grand total of two major European trophies. And we won one of them.

It's in inbred cousin to the attitude that dismisses any trophy bar the Champions League and Premier League title as Mickey Mouse, that writes off the League Cup and even the FA Cup, God help us, as second rate, scarcely worth bothering about.

Spoilt brattishness at its purest.

I am and was talking about it in the context of Sarri's ability as a manager.

The best team we faced by far in the entire competition was Arsenal. That tells you what you need to know about this years level in the Europe-league.

It's a good trophy and i celebrated it like everyone else but in terms of achievement it is almost nothing compared to winning the league lets say. Which i am sure most would agree with.

Tbh it wouldn't actually surprise me if Conte actually does do it with Inter within two years, its after that the sh*t will start.

At Juve his first two titles were totally unexpected (the first was seen as a one off not quite like Leicester but no one thought they would come close to retaining it), he was fighting the odds how he likes it. His third season the cracks started to show, okay granted he won the league with record points but a poor showing's in the other comps including a group stage exit of the CL led to the other side of Conte coming out, for example passing blame onto the board for his poor CL show.

We all know the story about what happened with us.

He's the best in the world at motivating himself and his players to make the top of the mountain from a position of handicap but he just doesn't have a clue how to keep them at the top once there, it goes a long way to explaining why he starts insisting on a real life version of FM with a financial cheat code once he's had his 'miracle' title(s).

Not accurate.

Here for example he accurately concluded that we would need more top class players if we were going to be able to compete on multiple fronts. It wasn't about "cheat coding" anything and most of the players Conte wanted went to some of our main rivals anyways which is a clear indication none of them were some type of unattainble dream type of signing.

He simply demands as much from the people around him as he does of himself. So when he feels let down by the club (like he without a doubt were in 2017) he had a major problem with that.

There is no doubt we would be in a much better position right now if we had actually supported Conte and his vision.

I hope Conte fails massively the bellend, how anyone can stand up for him after his season of childish, brattish unprofessional idiocy is beyond me.

You defended Sarri all season and he was and is a massive bellend.

Conte gave everything he had for the club and won us the league. You should have some respect for people that have actually done something for this club.

And if he doesn't you'll revert back to his accolades from 7 years ago while Sarri goes on winning.

He also insisted we needed a deeper squad, was he expecting 6 world class signings? Argo summed it up nicely, the bloke thinks he's playing FM.

If we'd supported Conte and his 'vision', we'd have a declining A.Sandro with attitude problems, Morata sulking about up top, Sanchez on the wing scoring one goal a season collecting 500k a week and a 33 year old Bonucci at the back. I'm bloody thankful we didn't support his vision.

I hope Conte fails massively the bellend, how anyone can stand up for him after his season of childish, brattish unprofessional idiocy is beyond me.
Absolutely this. Massive man baby.

You mean like win a European cup, take us back into the Champions league and the final of another cup? Listen to your own advice you f**king hypocrite.

That"s fair to a point but then when he didn't get everyone he wanted (and he was supported in some instances like Morata/Costa, Bakayoko) why didn't he just focus on getting the best out of what he had? I actually think his cup showings were good with a semi and a victory in the domestics and he got his tactics right vs Barca (if it wasn't for that generational genius on his very top form we would have gone through comfortably) but the league showing post January was truly abysmal and for me his attitude was the reason for that.

I wasn't talking to you.

Sarri fecked off to a team with "better history" as soon as he got half a chance. Without a single word of thanks to the club or fans and one of his last things he did as Chelsea-manager was to dedicate on of our title to another teams supporters.

You lot are well desperate to defend a man that doesn't give a sh*t about you.

Some of Conte’s decisions in his second season were bizarre. We needed better players and he didn’t get them but any manager who is concentrating more on saying f**k you to the board than actually trying to win can do one.
