Please elaborate? I'm sure Hazard would prefer a player he'd be able to link up with.Sell Bats
Pay the £98m release clause with the money.
Exactly the type of player that Hazard wants and a real statement in the transfer market.
Exactly this. If we are interested in Icardi we're better off sticking with Michy. One of the best natural finishes i've seen and on par in terms of build up.If he's a similar player to Bats, why not just keep Bats. Under a different manager and system, he could flourish. He was banging them in for Dortmund.
Hazard has openly said he wants players of a high calibre being bought by the club. Real major transfers. Please elaborate? I'm sure Hazard would prefer a player he'd be able to link up with.
Icardi has won no trophies and scores in a farmers league.Hazard has openly said he wants players of a high calibre being bought by the club. Real major transfers.
Serie A is not really that bad of a league. But consider this, we bought Hazard that actually played in a farmers league.Icardi has won no trophies and scores in a farmers league.
In order of preference; It's clear to me that a striker merry-go-round is potentially kicking into gear for the summer, Lewandowski, Higuain, Icardi, Mandzukic, Batshuayi, Morata, possibly Benzema.
So when he was in his prime, you wouldn't have wanted Totti at Chelsea?Icardi has won no trophies and scores in a farmers league.
Can't compare Totti to Icardi imho, Totti was the ultimate #9/#10, beast of a player. Icardi is a poacher. So when he was in his prime, you wouldn't have wanted Totti at Chelsea?

My point remains though, plenty of great players played in a "Farmers' League" before they moved to the prem: Hazard, Drogba, Zola etcCan't compare Totti to Icardi imho, Totti was the ultimate #9/#10, beast of a player. Icardi is a poacher.
That's because 10-15 years ago and in the whole 90's it was the best league in the world, but it doesn't mean it's a farmers league. Like I said Hazard came to us from a real farmers league so I wouldn't be so fast to dismiss Icardi just because he plays in Serie A. He's one of the top strikers in the world.Serie A is the weakest it's been in its entire history, according to every Italian I know.

Icardi did very well in a weak Inter team, he is 24-25 entering his best years, last season 29 goals and season before that 24 goals in the league, he's their captain which means he's also a leader so he's got it all. If the league is not that strong compared to La Liga and Premier league that's possible but Icardi isn't playing for the best teams in that league, Roma trashed us, got to be first in our CL group and knocked out Barcelona, Juventus knocked out Spuds and Napoli/Lazio/Inter are all very close teams.I haven't dismissed Icardi. Just saying Serie A is not a strong league.
Really? Better than Henry, Zlatan, Batitusta, Messi, C Ronaldo, Fat Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Lineker, Shearer, and, though it makes me want to puke to say it, Kane? (And that's just off teh top of my head)we're better off sticking with Michy. One of the best natural finishes i've seen and on par in terms of build up.
Best natural finishers ha ha....oh my lord. thats a belter.Really? Better than Henry, Zlatan, Batitusta, Messi, C Ronaldo, Fat Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Lineker, Shearer, and, though it makes me want to puke to say it, Kane? (And that's just off teh top of my head)
I know you have a man-crush on Michy, but you need to temper that with a little bit of reality.
