Most hated ex-players

So it sounds like Lukaku, Burley and Townsend the most "un-popular" choices.

I'd say although Lukaku isn't the flavour of the month(s), both Burley and Townsend are in completely different leagues, Burley more so. f**king awful bloke.

Chris Sutton also became a total bellend. If it wasn't for Shearer, he'd of had a career in the Conference league.

Poyet all day ... kissed the cock in front of us, nothing more needs to be said.
Was there at the Lane that night. A deliberate action aimed directly at us Chelsea fans. Their fans loved it. Unforgivable.

Poyet........ always and forever a c*unt.

I can't think of a single ex player that I hate, and to be honest I really don't see the point of this thread even existing. It's just very negative, and  "hate" in any form is surely not something that should be encouraged.

Go read about how Townsend acted towards Paul Elliott, he deserves to be hated by every right minded Chelsea fan the horrible c**t.

No particular order, Townsend, Durie, Courtois (although well pleased that he stopped the scousers), Burley.  Poyet and Gallas don't bother me so much...

I recall, at the Bridge, when Villa came to play when Townsend was there, a minute's silence (can't recall what for).  All quiet for the first 10 seconds and then this one lone voice shouts out "Townsend you're a w******", you can see the Chelsea players, Wise et al, trying not to laugh.  The usual "Shhhhssss" could be heard and it quietens down.  Then with about 10 seconds to go, the same bloke, "Townsend, you're still a w*****".  Classic, ha ha......
I remember that, i was at that game. LOl. He was right though, he was and remains a complete bell*nd

Watch and listen to the bitter twat
Hes bitter because he missed out on the big wages by a few years, he blathers and whines on about players wages all the time, it eats him up inside and thats why he`s so miserable and angry at everything in the game.

Poyet for kissing the cock.

Tibo for the way he played us.

Lukaku for being a coward, a fraud and a stupid sack of sh*t.

I am ok with Durie, Gallas, Cudicini, Scott Parker, Colin Lee, Terry Venebles, Glenn Hoddle, Micky Hazard, and Jimmy Greaves - who all played at 3 pts lane.

A lot of them from that generation are the same, Bosman happened in 95, but it wasn't until 2001 when the first £100k per week wage was achieved (Sol Campbell), so any average player who played between 1995 and 2000 would have earned a couple of million in their career, a decade later and they would of earned that in 6 months.

Surely has to be Lukaku.  Courtois was bad but at least he tried when he was at the club.  Lukaku didn't even try.

Dropping him from the match day squad for the Cup Final has left him very bitter too.

Don't hate any of our ex players. They were still Chelsea for a time.

If anything I find Craig Burleys bitterness to be quite amusing.
It’s unfortunate that Burley has the platform he does with ESPN, especially over here in the states. Fans believe everything they see on ESPN in the US. Between his bitterness and Steve Nicol’s Liverpool homerism, it makes their segments unwatchable for me. Burley is definitely my least liked ex player.
