Like most I went for Deco> I thought Ballack was superb before he had to go off and hope

we don't lose him for too many games. Anyone got any word on how serious the injury is?

Chuffed with Deco and Bosingwa, but for me Lamps controlled that midfield like never before and looked confident just passing making runs, linking play.... hope him and Deco can keep it up.. puts pay to all that crap about Gerrard and Lamps can't play together.. Deco and Lamps can

Suprisingly, i went for Deco.

Looked like he'd been playing in Blue for years.

Notable mentions must also go to both full-backs, Ballack, and Mikel.

Both full backs were amazing, but Deco went one better.

Clear winner and rightly so

Although Deco would seem the most obvious choice, his distribution etc and esp with goal on debut.

I though thought Mikel as the role his played was our MOTM he enabled Bots and Cole both to play more as wingers up the field and allowed our midfielders to move further forward as well as sitting back at times when Cav and Terry forgot which ends of the pitch they play in

has to be wee deco. first game in england and he was brilliant.wasnt bullied and was great at keepin the play movin fast. him and lamps are gonna be unstoppable this year
