For the problem we have now I'd go for Nasri but he is going to City. I know nothing about Hazard so can't comment on that.

I'd agree with this, although I don't think spuds would sell Bale to us of all people, so I'd say Mata instead, and we'd have a bloody good team!

 
Yeah SC, he is the one. It's odd how Bayern have 3 of the best 5 or 6 wide players in the world.

But of course he is a dream. Mata might be less dreamy. But he is costly. My cheapy is Farfan from Schalke tore up the CL last season and is in the last year of his contract.

 
Mueller would be amazing for the Premiership. Like Bale he's really only got one dribbling trick and that's to knock and run past a player, but he's lightning quick and is very creative. Scored 19 goals last season for Bayern, and also loves to get behind defenses to the byline and cut the ball back across the penalty area.

Signing him would still require someone like Modric or Lampard or McEachran to hit top form and play balls behind defensive lines for him to run on to.

Farfan is horribly inconsistent and injury-prone, sadly. I really wanted him and we were interested in him (rumoured to be one of our Alex-style deals) when he was back in Holland, but nothing came of it. Both Farfan and Mueller are better versions of Malouda though, we probably want someone who can knock in a quality cross since our best exponents of that are Torres and Drogba.

I just think, if he's surplus to requirement there, they'd sooner send him out on loan to someone like Everton than sell him to us. And he has at least 3 years remaining on his contract I believe.

 
Farfan ?? No way...

Bayern wouldnt sell Mueller for 100m and even if I wouldnt want him at Chelsea as I really dont rate his playing style. Also he isnt a real winger, he doesnt cross the ball and is at least in my humble opinion totally overrated. What he does well is get into the box at the right time and he finishs well also, but thats not what we are looking for

 
I said he was my cheapy, sheesh. At least he puts his chances away.

What do you think of Reus from Gladbach gb? I think he might be a real future star, just breaking in to the German team. I'd put him ahead of Marin for example, he works harder and his final ball is better.

 
Well considering under Mourinho we had 4 quality wingers (alright, 3 and SWP): Duff, Robben, Cole, SWP. And now we have Malouda and Kalou... I'd take just about anyone at this stage. But what I'd like is for Malouda and Kalou to both f**k off and replace them with:

Hazard

De Bruyne

Adam Johnson

Then we also have Sturridge who can play out there. Making it 4 good wingers again.

 
Why does it have to be a wide man?

My old nan would do a job for us right now.
