Obligatory new manager

Zero tactics when he was at Madrid, just vibes and an unbelievable team he inherited. Don't think he'd do anything of note at Chelsea.
I'm sure he has a assistant to sort out the tactics for me. If Boehly is serious about throw money in, get the most high profile manager and buy the best player his stats guy tells him.  I don't think he will come to us, but hell we sacked a CL winning manager, and now we settle for an upcoming good manager fighting in mid table? Not being disrespectful for our likely next manager, but everything he has achieved so far, Tuchel has done it as will before he took the PSG and Chelsea job.

I'm not trying to be sensible here, after all the last 24 hours have not made any sense 😁

We said the same about Lamps that his assistant can sort tactics out though, that Madrid team was simply an anomaly with the talents they accumulated at one time. I think Zidane deep down knows this and that's why he isn't jumping into another job.

Tuchel.

Boehly out.

Tuchel back in.

There's 100 better owners than Todd,  the list of managers avaliable other than Tuchel is uninspiring to say the least.

I voted for Potter, because I think of the named Managers in this poll, he is by far the most interesting profilewise and the other 3 have clear red flags imo, plus he will be our new manager so I don't want to jinx him via voting for another option.

Emma has built an empire over long term, I would prefer her to stay where she is. She wouldn’t get the respect from the mens team and couldn’t handle her getting the boot when she doesn’t. It was hard enough with Frank!

I think we know who the next boss will be but I would’ve preferred Zidane by far! I think we are taking a big step back compared to any manager of recent years bar AVB and Avram.
Why wouldn't she get the respect from the men's team Mod? Are you saying we have a dressing room full of Souness's and Linekers? It's a win , win. We openly embrace equality and diversity and in doing so immediately become the media darlings, (the BBC would never dare say a word against us ever again), all in one fell swoop.

Scouse. Would get no respect from me.
I'm no scouse fan at all, but i got nothing but admiration for him, probably the best manager in my lifetime imo.

Our resident scouser will know better, but in my sampling of living in Northern England for many years, a lot of Liverpool fans said Shankley was their greatest and set the stage for Bob to do the job.

And what happens when she's sacked?

(when because i don't think we've ever had a manager resign or retire at Chelsea since the 90s at least, maybe Hiddink?)

John Neal ( probably our most likeable manager )

Has to be Clough Paisley inherited a great team and set up. I was at our game against Forest in 77 we both ended up getting promotion to think in the space of three years he'd taken journeymen and broke Liverpool's dominance and won two European cups is off the scale remarkable. He definitely stayed too long and should have retired about 5 years before he did.  Interestingly he blamed the Scousers for Hillsborough and only apologised a good few years after he said it in print and on Clive Anderson's chatshow.
