Oriol Romeu

First Romeu signed for three years, now he is loaned to Stuttgart. His value will increase & most likely he is sold after next season. The good old Chelsea's way.

Apparently he wants a stable starting spot and wants to give up the 'loanee lifestyle':

"I started the season with Chelsea because the coaching staff wanted me to renew my contract until 2017. Mourinho treated me very well and received several offers from Germany, one from Celta, and finally I opted for the Stuttgart. Both the coach and the Chelsea sporting director recommended that I come here because it was a long term project with a good manager. In close to 30 games for Stuttgart have found continuity and rhythm that every player needs.

"I saw what the president said. In June I'll speak with Chelsea to know their intentions. After two seasons on loan, I think the ideal would be settling into a club to get some stability."

Looks like he's off then. Apart from early signs he didn't really come alive.

I change my mind, I'd like to see him back part of our first team squad instead of MIkel or Ramires

Sorry but Mikel's ability is on a different planet to Romeu... thing about Mikel (and even Ramires) is, by virtue of their physicality/talent both have the ability to be effective even when they're playing sh*te...

Will happily eat humble pie if proved otherwise, but Romeu (along with Kalas/Omerou) will never be good enough for the first team (don't get me wrong, I'm all for giving youth a chance if they demonstrate they have something about them, i.e. Zouma/RLC).

Isn't Romeu currently on loan to Stuttgart who are currently bottom of the Bundesliga? Speaks volume.

Why would we weaken ourselves like that.
I prefer him to Mikel, do you remember the few games he played with us?

This is the same person who is open to selling Ivanovic to play Kalas instead.
You're taking what I said out of context you moron, I said Kalas was like a future Ivanovic and could eventually in the future replace him. No way did I say that he should replace ivanovic right now.

I feel as if Romeu would be more useful to us then Mikel, the few games he played with us he played reasonably well. Also did you not see kalas play against Liverpool last season? He was the star player

Yeah I do. Hence my comment, Hence why Romeu hasn't been here for a couple years now. Another pretender to the mantle of 'better than mikel'

Romeu can't be that bad if he signed a 5 year extension with us last year though can he?

Also the sooner I see Mikel kicked out of here, the better. To me he's worthless. Even the game right now against Liverpool, he's just been useless so far

Even you can't keep up with all the sh*t you write on here.

Would be happy to see him go if it means Kalas becomes the replacement and plays a lot of games
... Moron.
