With the news of Scolari taking over chelsea is it too much of a coincidence that he announces this just a day after the breakout of Scolari being Chelsea manager?

Who knows.. i know many see him as a hot head, but a player with his talents can only learn to control himself and be one of the best out there.

I hope Quaresma doesn't end up here.

From what I've heard and seen of him, he hits the deck so fast it makes Ronaldo in his early days look slow on the up-take, he's stroppy and did end up at Barca but failed and so went back to Porto.

I just ask myself this question, if Quaresma really is so wonderful and his name has been out there for a few years now - how come the likes of Man Utd, Chelsea, Milan etc not ever come calling really before?

I have a feeling Inter have got him actually, good because I feel pretty sure he will prove to be a failure there just as he was when he went to Barca.

This is feeling more and more like it could happen. Quaresma was reported to have said he has "signed for a big club" but will only disclose it after his Euro involvement. Personally I wouldn't take him for free. Too much of an attitude problem, both on and off the pitch.

If Scolari (being the discinplanarian he is) is willing to take him, then i'm happy to have him. That said, there are others out there I would have chosen ahead of him.

I wouldn't mind him at Chelsea, but I think he is the best option after Ribery (with Robinho a close 3rd choice).

would Quaresma unsettle the dressing room? I have heard that his temprament isn't the best, and that even Scolari has had some difficulties keeping him under control. I know that he is an undeniable, flashy talent, but is it worth bringing him in if he would only cause unrest? We already paid 30M for a player who seemingly ripped the club apart?

Well his moving somewhere as I beleive his allready announced that an agreement has been reached but hasn't named with which club (I have a strong feeling it will be Chelsea).

I doubt his transfer fee will be anywhere near 30 million though, probably closer to 15.

Im not sure about this to be honest.. if Scolari wanted him to join Chelsea then fair enough we have him but they didn't seem the best of friends and he didn't really get played in the Euro's at all. Scolari didn't really seem keen on him. He picked Nani over him which is the biggest insult ever.
