Wes Brown has returned from Man Utd's pre-season camp because his 36 year old pregnant sister has died. This comes just 5 months after their father died. I know there are tragedies every day but this is a football forum and we were touched by the decent response from the majority of people when Frank's mum died.

Wow, tragic stuff. I saw someone make vague mention to this on anther forum, but didnt know what it was about

rest in peace for his sister, thoughts and prayers for his family

Tragic and sad news for Wes.

Was it during Childbirth complications or something Loz, not seen it in the news or anything.

No she apparently had suffered from heart problems before and I think it was connected to that.

RIP. Very sad and painful to lose your father and a sister in such a short space of time.

Sympathy here too, no matter how bitter any rivalry is, it all goes out the window when you hear tragic stories like this. Tragic news.

That is very sad, feel for the family.

Get back to football soon Wes I am sure that is what your Father and Sister would want.

Horrible, horrible thing to happen.

Thoughts go out to him and his family.

Its terrible to see anyone die, obviously, but to hear about someone dying when they were in the prime of life and, apparrently, fully healthy, makes it even worse. Heart defects and complications are such a sudden and cruel killer

That is terrible news. Imagine the potential joy his family must've been feeling about the imminent arrival of a new family member after the recent loss of another in the past few months. ONly to have two more taken from them! This is unbelievably sad. Rest In Peace, and strength and hope to all concerned.

Any Scouse prick that thinks this is worthy of a joke should be castrated and dumped in teh streets of Manchester

That really is a genuine tragedy.

I have had a friend of mine go through a similar experience (wife died during childbirth) and it is absolutely horrible, for the exact reasons that mad mac said above.
