Sunderland vs Chelsea (PL) Sunday 24th May 16:00 GMT

Everton are a pointless club, they don't offer anything to the league. They can't even be counted on to relegate Spuds. I wish they were relegated a few seasons back.
Their sole purpose in existing is to give people in Liverpool a local team to support that's not Liverpool. My Grandad was one of those (blue Scouse), so I've tended to have a soft spot for Everton because of that, but today will take some forgiving.

Cucurellas performance today was criminal, in a season showered with sh*t performances that one might actually take the biscuit.

Hope him and his Temu David Luiz hair f**k off in the summer back to North Gibraltar
Who replaces him?

Called it bang on JT. Performances like we witnessed today need to be called out. Our standards have dropped to unacceptable levels.

As a resident of a £5m Chelsea townhouse, I disagree with John Terry. I felt Sunderland were by far the better team on this outing, and perhaps their ascendance has been under priced. I felt we were very much outclassed and perhaps, although he is the very persona of our club in terms of his many storied opinions, attitudes and behaviours, (of which I have little occasion to criticise as I'm very much one to support Rupert Lowe etc.) he might in fact be wrong this time.

Well said JT. Three wins from our last fourteen games and one of those was Port Vale! Utterly shameful and unforgivable. Cheats and cowards masquerading as professional footballers. Good luck Xabi, you'll need it.

Couldn't watch the match due to family obligations. The result has me hesitant to read through the 10 or so pages of match comments 🫣

At least this season this we beat A*** and Spurs twice.

To save your eyesight, the Glee Club was in fine form.

A £5 milion Chelsea townhouse? So basically an ex-council tenant who took advantage of the right to buy. I doubt you can actually count to 5.

Well, it was only 5m at the last valuation and of course but I hardly think this is relevant to our disappointing performance today

Up the blues.

Of course but the £5 million must dull the pain of the result?

Such a disappointment watching this absolute shower of sh*te this afternoon. More fool me I suppose given the number of times that's been the case this season.

Was reading an old program as I do to when not at a game and watching on TV to fill in the time between adverts and boring chat and saw a few names on the team sheet such as Gary Chivers, Mickey Nutton, Peter Rhodes Brown etc etc , honest lads who were probably way out of their depth but all we had to turn to. Whatever their lack of football ability could never fault their effort or commitment and ,even those guys, put some of our present players to shame in fact can safely say that I connected more with the players at that dark time than some of todays absolute wnkers.

Cucurella for me today was just abhorrent, jogging back (when he could be bothered) to, and I use the words very loosely, "Chase" back his man.

Then that moment late in the game when we won the ball back progressing into a dangerous position deep inside the final third down their left and Cucurella running up inside in support chooses to drag the defender back rather than the easier option of putting in some effort and running around him.

Apologies to my wife and kids for being in such a foul mood tonight. Just so glad the seasons over.

Not sure what the new manager made of that utter shambles of a performance.

Transfer window is going to be interesting. It’s going to be difficult to get rid of so much deadwood.

Just found out all we needed was a draw to reach 7th and a Europa league spot. Lol

You get accustomed to it. I imagine our players, with hearts like mice, also barely feel their waste of paycheque landing in their bank.

I can show another stat that is even more mind blowing

It's never just one bad stat with Chelsea LDN, there is always something else somebody can dig out to make it look even worse.
