Like the last platform, we still have the web app running, so if you had that installed; delete it from your Home screen and reinstall again.

If you didn't have it running before, it's definitely worth adding to your phone or tablet, as you will get notifications of any watched topics, DMs, post replies, etc, sent directly as notifications.

To install or reinstall on the newer platform, make sure you are logged in on your browser; then click the three lines at the top left of the site. It will open the navigation menu, and click 'Install' at the bottom.



It will then show a short video of how to add it to your phone.

Click Share and Add to Home Screen. You should then see the app installed on your phone or tablet home screen.



The first time you click on the app, you should see a prompt at the bottom about permission to Enable Push Notifications, Click that to give it permission, and you are all set!

If you don't see the enable message, or to double-check, go to your Profile and look under Preferences, and at the bottom you can set all to enable Alert and Push notifications.



Tick all those boxes to Alert and Push, and click Save at the bottom.

PS - If you don't see the menu on Android, tap the screen at the top of the browser, then enable Push Notifications in the app as above.

@Mod - quick question on the app. The old app used to auto-refresh and land on next new post. The new forum, and iOS app, the only way I can refresh within a thread is to go to the top of the page and pull down, let it refresh, and then hit go to new post. Is there something I'm missing on auto-refreshing content - flowed a little easier with older setup in match day thread.

I meant within the thread. I may be mistaken in how it used to work, but did think there was some level of auto refreshing that occurred.
Am in match day thread now and to get latest posts you either have to leave thread and come back, or go to top of page and pull down to refresh, then scroll to latest.
Unless I’m missing something very obvious, which is also quite possible!

I made you a button though, on the bottom navigation that shows in threads, and takes you to the latest post in the thread. Can you see it?

Thanks for quick reply. I’d missed latest post button and works great.
So there is a jump to new at top and latest post at bottom. Those navigate well

Hello mate.
I'm getting Ad Blocker detected all the time, but I get ads all the time ? haven't even been able to finish this post to you all afternoon!!
Tried the usual. In fact it's been fine until today.
And , crossed fingers seems ok now??

There's another hangover from the old platform. Despite white-listing all the ad blockers, etc, I get the blue screen when I try to log in. Easier just to stay logged in.
