Been to Stamford Bridge yet? Can see why you don't get emotional about football and Chelsea's players, watching the occasional game from the other side of the world. Ahh well, suppose every fan base has the odd fair weather fan. Nice to see you on a thread other than Politics for once honey.

You've kind of missed the point. For arguments sake, If he knocked up a Russian bird and she was living in Moscow with the kids would Courtois have forced a move to live over there? I doubt it. He wanted to move to Madrid, which i doubt many blame him for. Most are annoyed that he tried to make out he's done this all for his kids, instead of just saying he wants to play for the biggest team in the world.

His kids? They are the most important thing in his life!

Real Madrid? After us is Real Madrid his most favorite team in the world. Everyone knows that. For years. And now, he has taken his last chance. I can't blaim him for that, Rip Mourinho.

'Welcome home', I saw in Spanish (just on tv). That's what it's all about.

No, that also is a difference. But he wanted to go from Athletic since Real Madrid whispered in his ear last January, and when he did not go (Zidane did not want him) and had to stay in Bilbao, his words were that after meditating it he had decided that the right move was to stay and play for his Club, Athletic. Hasn't shown much loyalty to the club were he has grown up. And he possibly has not gone awol given that the interest has only been recent, so no time to do a "Courtois".

But I am happy that he is here and I hope that he makes his career as goal keeper at Chelsea.

 
Courtois has been quoted as saying "Hazard has congratulated me on signing for Real Madrid. I'd like to play next to him again someday and if he came here it would be fantastic."

Yep, hate him a bit more now. I think Courtois will be doing all he can to force Hazard to Madrid next summer.

His kids are SO important that he just went 4 years without them and only recently really pushed for a move now that he was cheap? Oh please.

Not 4 years. You can check it out.

The last year he flew a lot to Spain or his kids came to London or Bilzen.

There is an entire thread of his unveiling. Everything he's said etc. 

Even said the Real Madrid badge is the only one he has ever wanted to kiss, and proceeded to kiss the badge. Like i said, all about the kids though....

This. Hazard said basically he wanted to leave but the club blocked any move, he accepted it like a professional and got on with it.  If Hazard ever leaves then he will always be loved by the supporters because he behaved correctly.

In this whole story, the only words I'v heard sofar is Courtois' Thank You Chelsea Family.

Be careful with rumours on internet, Rip Mourinho. Even his twitter account is not his one. Someone is doing that for him.
