The number 1 issue with the club are Paul and Lawrence. Their job needs to be under review and come the end of the season do not let them continue in their current capacity (I would prefer they get sacked they have failed every single coach they've worked with at Chelsea).
Asses Pochettino's performance including the context of injuries (even with the injuries did he underpeform), was he given a good enough squad and even if not (did he still underperform). Once this is done if termination is needed pull the plug accept that you need a world class sporting director and coach along with a world class infrastructure behind them.
Squad clear out like last season accept that the sporting directors brought in players that just aren't good enough (even with patience they're not good enough to do what the club needs currently) sell Mudyrk, Madueke, Broja, Kepa, Gallagher, Chalobah (like him and Gallagher but they're assets), Ian to Dortmund (probably), Sterling if a good enough offer comes in, hope Ziyech moves on, sell Lukaku. Easily this is >£100m and I'm sure I've forgotten some more that need to go.
Consider having an actual manager and not a head coach, you can't want to emulate Liverpool and City whilst failing to acknowledge the huge role Pep and Klopp play on every aspect of the club especially player acquisition and club philosophy.
We are doing everything backwards and that is why the club is going backwards. Our owners believe they are revolutionaries but they are in fact doing what no one else is doing because that is not how you run an elite football club.Â
