Worth the gamble (no pun) for £40m, if he gets a six month ban in the coming weeks he will be available by the end of the year, plus he would have spent six months with the squad at Cobham, so it's not like he will be a new player by the time he plays his first game.
Do you know if they are announcing his ban length at the end of May?

No but i think it makes sense for the FA to announce his punishment as soon as the season is over and doesn't drop Brentford in the sh*te.

I dont understand this, why are they waiting to punish him in case it causes Brentford a problem, its never stopped them punishing us or our players/manager in the past for stuff.

I dunno whether Osimhen is a one season wonder or would succeed in the PL but that's a great video. thanks for posting

Yup if he gets a six month ban he will be able to play cards with all of our injured players who will be part of the Cobham glee club. Fit right in.

Were Chelsea, they are dear little Brentford,

Lukaku might do well under Pochettino. Lukaku wants to be loved and needed so Pochettino might appeal to his ego. Even if we get one decent season out of him, it could work.

Though if there’s a chance that we can flog him to Atheltico Madrid who are apparently interested then we should do it.

Ian Wright on Romelu Lukaku: “The word on the street is that Mauricio Pochettino wants him back. He’s got massive unfinished business here. If I was him, I would love to know I’m going back there and I can shut a few people up. He owes it to himself."

Yup. He wants to stay in Italy. He has said so. He didn't want to leave Inter for Chelsea in the first place. Inter needed the money. He's 30 in a couple of days, injury prone, not surprising for such a big man at his age, and Inter (a) can't afford him: and (b) have found more reliable alternatives. No one else in Italy can afford him even if they wanted him so, regardless of his personal preferences, Italy is a no-go.

If we're stuck with him, Pochettino is perfectly capable of getting inside his head, as Conte did so successfully at Inter. Fit, one half-decent season would be better than what we've suffered this season.

The Atletico rumours continue to swirl. Italian gossip - for what it's worth  - has Inter looking at Morata for about €15m which could open the door for Lukaku.

So hes coming back to sort out the unfinished business from last time he came to Chelsea, after he had came back to sort out unfinished business, which he didnt. Also he will shut people up, after failing to shut people up last time he came to Chelsea.....yeah, thats definitelya ll gonna work out for him...

All the old faults still looked there last night. He didn't come on until the second half. To be fair he had one decent short run in the middle of the pitch where opponents were bouncing off him, but that was it. Oh, except for the pointing. It was truly exceptional pointing from Lukaku in all directions. We have missed that since Jorginho left. Gets the whole team motivated.

I'm sure there's no ulterior motive in a die hard Arsenal fan wanting Lukaku back at Chelsea.

He looks fit again at least which is something. I think the chances of him coming back are high so getting a fit version back is better than the alternative.

Ah if only he would apply himself to do that and not be a sulky brat.

ROM is 30 today, I got a feeling he will get 2 goals tonight if he gets to start. I think people will forgive him next season if he scores 20 goals after the s***show this season of our strikers.

All he asks for is the love and a manager who believes in him

106  appear  = 72 goals for national team .not that bad

Yet when it came to the game that actually mattered the manager favoured 37 year old Edin Dzeko.

Make an excuse for that, I dare you....

Well let the actual numbers tell the story:

and now you tell me who is helping Inter to Win ? I give you the stats of the 3 main attackers Dzeko, Lautario , Lukaku and Lukaku is pairing with Corea ( Pulisic of Inter)almost all of the matches . Maybe because Inzagi favor Dzeko but it’s not because of him being better then Lukaku.

ps if Lukaku had playd against Verona I’m sure he would have put another 2 maybe a hatrix😉
