Who are you getting on the back of your shirt this year?

Just read through this thread. Of course it is someone's right to wear a football shirt should they wish...but then Whitewall66 also has a right to his opinion that they look sh*t on grown-ups. Why isn't he allowed this opinion? Should he lie and say he thinks they look super to please people who wear them?
Just to make this perfectly clear, I have no problem with people who prefer not to wear Chelsea shirts. As you say, everybody is entitled to their opinion. But to insult somebody for wearing them, calling them pathetic and childish, this I take issue with.

Why should I turn the other cheek and allow some obnoxious windup have a pop at me for my choice of clothing?

But anyways, its done as far as I'm concerned. Moving on.....

Not sure the exact season but it was on the white, with a red thin pin stripe and a awesome string collar away kit..... Remember that?! Haha

I am pretty sure he changed his number to 4 at the end of that season!! He was my hero.... I cringe now every time he does commentary on ITV!!!!

Like many I feel like I've outgrown wearing Chelsea replica kits. I have however moved onto buying polo shirts or training shirts as they are a nice way to support the team in a understated way.

Each to their own though.

To be honest Doc I'm not sure George did miss the point, I think he's calling it pretty much how it was, and yes I have read back through the thread to reach that conclusion.

Then I suggest you read the thread again.

whitewall starts off by putting me down for "low self-esteem" over an argument that never was. He carries on in this vein, with similar inventions.

He calls me pompous, grandiose, tells me I regard the Rangers section as "my own little kingdom," He fully agrees with this twat who's been banned at least three times, and then goes on to describeme as "the  "King Herod Of The Shed End", he tells me I'm paranoid, He questions why I felt the need to give my post a title. Nobody else has done that, says he. Am I trying to get the post read on Radio 4 or something?

All the while I restrict myself to calling him a wind-up merchant, until I finally reach the end of my tether when he comes up with yet another invention. This time he says I was upset, and again completely twists the incident around.

And no it's not only me he was having a go at.

luckily this is just a refuge where Chelsea fans (and a few others!) link up and offer opinions on all manner of sh*te, some we agree with (like the dude that said Mikel is underrated) and some we don't (like your post above).  The beauty of it all is that we don't have to agree with each other, we never have to meet so those that want to can take on a completely different character to who they are in the real world, and if you want to one could even give it the big "I am" if that's what they wish.  Either way it's time to put this little disagreement of opinions to bed.

Or duel to the death!

Barn - be grateful for threads like this - the Random Chat thread is turning into the Death By Drivel thread.

My opinion on Football shirts - or indeed ANY kind of fashion statement, is that people can wear what they want.  This all started with someone (WW??) saying that fat bald men shouldn't wear football shirts.

What are fat people allowed to wear in order not to offend the eyes of the slim people of the world?  Fat people never look as good as slim  people whatever they wear.  Should they wear tents in order not to cause sensitive skinnymalinks to shudder with horror?

This is no longer a football matter, it is a Fashion Police matter!

The spat is over as far as i'm concerned Barn. Moi if you look at my first post i say that people are free to spend there money how they want. I don't mention fat or skinny people at all but do mention beer guts. You mention that fat people never look as slim people whatever they wear. A sweeping generalization perhaps?

These are mine, also got the full kits for playing 5's and I'm 21 so a grown man.

If you don't like that I have them, guess what? f**k yaaaas!
