Interesting and not, if im honest, very pleasing.

Rain coming down, Wigan crowd giving it some, this could be a very tricky game for them.

Odd, as Fergie's old boys normally roll over nicely for their gaffer.

 
Vidic just elbowed the Wigan striker in the throat, could well have been a second yellow. He looks very rattled after the goal.

 
I've seen this happen before sadly.

Start a topic about Liverpool or Manure losing and boom, they win it.

I'm not hoping for anything much.

 
Yeah, but my point was, for once, I don't really want them to, as it means the Dipper are back in with a sniff of the title.

 
Good point, I didn't think of that. Much rather see Manure lift the title again than the Dippers...

 
this game is ANOTHER example of how utd haven't been that good this season..amazing if they end it with a treble...radio 5 commentators keep talking about players doing a drogba...even when we're not playing we get sh*T

not disappointed as like everyone it stops liverscum, but utd were unimpressive again...their squad is just the best, have more match winners and can rely on the bench to get them out of trouble...we used to have that...not anymore

 
The sad thing is that I don't think there was ever any doubt Man Utd would win this... even when they were 1 down.

 
yep- they only need one or two of those matchwinners to play well and they can bail out the rest of the side. must be a fantastic thing to rely on, if we come close to matching their quality in the final third in the summer we should have a real chance to win the title again.

 
As much as I would like to hope that they lose this one and the other two, I know chances are low, and I'd rather them win and make sure they win the title than watch the scum win their first Premiership.

Have you ever seen Gerrard win the league...?

Unless I'm mistaking we're not officially out of the running. If that is the case then all I can say is "come on ManU!"

They might as well win all the remaining games now and get the title. I feel a bit sorry for my friend who supports Liverpool, but he'll survive. I guess Pool winning the title would be much, much, much harder for you guys in England than it would be for me.

Now, let's get the 2nd spot!

 
Never happy when ManU win, but still heaps better than StevieMe and his gang steal it. God Forbid if he steals one title, he will talk non stop about himself for years :happy001:

 
I kept up with the first 15 minutes, and then was pulled away. Looking at the scoreline, its just typical Man Utd (or Scumpool) this year. Underachieve, go a goal down, and then make a tactical change and reverse the result. Lucky bar stewards. Alright, maybe thats just the bitterness talking because they could do very very well this season.

One point from their game against Arsenal and the title race is over. I heard after their final goal today, Evra did the Bentiez "its over' hand gesture. As much as we hate seeing Man Utd so dominant, it must cut the Scousers like a knife knowing so many big victories, late wins, and lucky red cards, and they still arent good enough. Victories over us twice, and Man Utd twice making histroy in the process, and they havent done it. The stars were aligned, the luck was on their side, but between Benitez playing Skrtel as a RB, and Andrey Arshavin, it still wasnt enough. That must hurt

And above all, this is gonna be #18. If they beat Barcelona, I cant even imagine the sentiment on Merseyside

And next year, I think we will be good enough to challenge for the title....

Exactly. Our defense and midfield, imo is definitely the equal or better than theirs. But nobody can match Tevez, Rooney, Berbatov and Ronaldo. Especially when one or two of those options come off the bench to run at a weary defense
