He was sh*t midweek and Maresca slated him a fair bit after the game, maybe he's playing him to see if he can get a reaction. I wouldn't have played him after midweek personally but we'll see how it goes.

The only reason I can see for picking Mudryk is he must look good in training. Because game days he is rubbish…. Perhaps he’s thinking one day it will all come good and he’ll put in a MOTM performance 

 
Struggle to get excited for this starting lineup,  No idea why Nkunku is not playing, and I was hoping to see Neto's first start (too soon for Felix).  On paper, an odd selection to me, but then nothing is every expected with Chelsea.

Concern with Lavia.  I hope that he can regain stability and fitness, otherwise we will be really light in midfield with Conor sold and Ugo loaned.

Calm down people . Mudryk is only starting because Neto Nkuku and Felix are being protected. Mudryk knows he has to perform today and i believe he will

Ffs, poor Lavia. He can cement his name in the starting 11 this season if he stays fit and plays as well as he did.

I hope you are right, but I haven't seen anything in the last 18 months to suggest he can turn it on at will, or indeed has anything to even turn on !

 
Lousy line up. Lavia injured and we have Mudryk and Jackson starting up front. Maresca is playing at what exactly?

I get it and agree, but it’s another thing for the media to have a go at. I don’t give a f**k about it. It is a sh*t hole but in today’s wokey world it seems to be a problem. f**k em all.
