Gotta disagree Brit. Baines has had absolutely no cover whatsoever from Rooney.

Rooney thinks its enough just to be goal side. It isn't. You have to close down and get tight to your opponent. Not stand off them and give them time to play.

For years Just , Cole has defended well without having any cover from the man in front, Rooney has been lazy  and Baines can't do what Cole did so well.

We've played well in patches, naive at times but at least we've had a go. Can we go on and win this maybe, I'd still take the draw at present. We should progress through this group.

Baines has been sh*te, Rooney needs to be moved into the middle or be subbed

However I think we've played well, Welbeck's been quality but Henry & Rio are right he needs to take more risks. If Roy can drill this in to him he could prove to ve a dangerous player for us.

Not arguing Baines is the better left back Charriere. I am saying Rooney has offered him absolutely no defensive cover at all.

BBC pundits are talking about it now. Henry has said something along the lines that if Rooney isn't playing in his proper position, then he shouldn't be playing at all. I agree with that.

It's an improvement on our game against them two years ago. We've shown some threat and scored an excellent goal. We should think about signing that Sturridge bloke. We can nick this but I reckon draw. Both sides will be pretty happy with that.

Btw, did Ferdinand just say something about Welbeck needing to open his legs?
