Jonty, hey brother keep it cool. You can't wish my country to lose to Moses can come back.

Btw, I remember you all thought that Moses wasn't Chelsea's standard. How wrong he's proven you all.

I want my country to go as far as possible in this competition and if that means Moses staying put for National assignment, so be it!
Your memory isn't so good. There were those of us who thought highly of Moses. Don't try to paint everyone with the same brush.

SAND :wtf:

They have been using that pitch all tournament, it's an absolute joke of a competition. The ball never stops bouncing, even when it was rolling you could see the ball bubbling up and down. There literally hasn't been a good thing to say about the African Nations this year. Rubbish pitches, rubbish refs, rubbish football, rubbish footballers    Good luck choosing the player of the tournament. I could player better than these players, nearly every shot is ballooned over the bar, it's just awful, they can't even string a few passes together and create a decent move, it really is the worst football competition i have seen in my life.

Top sides would be insane to buy any players from Africa right now.
From what i've heard Mikel could win it, then he'll go back to being paid an extravagant amount of money to pass the ball sideways and loiter out of position when we're not on the ball week in week out.

But it won't matter because hes the ACON best player. Did you hear he's also better than Messi because he won the u-21 player of the year or something 6 years ago?

I remember watching the Togo game (only second half) the highlight of the first half was a freakishly big bug being knocked over by the ball when it hit the dugout.

This tells you how poor this competition is.

Reports say the Association of Nigerian Prostitutes (ANP) is claiming that their promise of one-week free sex boosted the Eagles victory against their West African counterpart.
They have a union?? Brilliant!

Mali - Nigeria is 0-0 after 15 minutes - absolutely phenomenal ball forward from Mikel there.

I probably just seen the pass of the tournament from Mikel for Nigeria, wish he would do this a bit more at Chelsea. If he did i may praise him a bit more.

Yeah that was superb from Moses there - absolutely did his left back and put in a perfect cross. I Was out of my seat there with that Mikel shot!

Wow, Moses is really showing us what we're missing.

I Was out of my seat there with that Mikel shot!
It was a fierce strike and just a few inches wide. He is so unlucky with some of his shots, he has better technique than most people think.

Great performances from Mikel and Moses thus far, can't wait for both to return.

Nigeria 3-0 up at HT, dont think we'll see Moses or Mikel back yet!

Was at the game, Moses setup two goals and played well , until he limped off, mikel had a good game as well

watching this and the England game, disgraceful refereeing!!!!

VicMo has been brilliant so far, think we've really missed him to be honest - work rate, ability... hopefully he wins it now.

Well, Africa has always been a place where you find athletes, not technicians (South Africa and North Africa are possible exceptions).

In all honesty, I'm not sure how surprised we should be by the ACON not featuring sublime technical play. It very rarely has.

The underperformance of more technically skilled teams (Morocco) may also be down to them simply not gelling as a unit.

Another thing I've noticed about many of these African sides is that they may have a plethora of quality players in certain positions, but hardly any players of note in other positions (can anyone name Cameroon's right-back? Me neither) - which doesn't help the team's overall performance.
