Hmm makes the Courtois situation interesting.

The best situation for us has always been that Courtois resigns.  But we need a contingency if he doesnt. With Alisson off the market. We're not finding another keeper at that level.

It's crazy, even more crazy when you see that he has had 1 season at the top level, and it wasn't like he was spectacular. I didn't see him do much for Roma in the Champions League, i remember him pulling the ball out of the net a lot.

For a world record fee you’d think you were talking about a world class player but I’ll be honest I’d never heard of him before.

Nuer, De Gea, Courtois etc. Those are the keepers I thought would attract a huge money bids but the sweeper/keeper fad seems to have elevated other goalkeepers recently.
