Anthony Gordon

Dodged a bullet on this one. 

Had a stinker today and should have been sent off, hasn’t looked anywhere near a wonder kid since the links and even before that his work rate over output has been deceptive. 

 
Its not like us to not get our bellies tickled in the transfer market but, in a rare moment of sense, we've got away from with this one.

I've not understood hype like this since Jive Bunny.

To be fair to Newcastle they understandably want an analogue to Saint-Maximin. Gordon is also a winger, also wears the same number shirt, was also born in Europe, and is also a member of Homo Sapiens Sapiens. 

 
Fantastic comedy from Anthony yesterday .

Ball hits his standing foot followed by hilarious air shot.

Would have at least brought some laughter if he played for us.

But not as funny as Werner uprooting the corner flag while attempting a corner kick
