HAHA...Havent got it in me anymore...Just a handshakeDon"t tell me your after knobing her for old time sake?
That would be Ali aka The General. That wouldn't be Gareth from North Cheam would it?
Anyone remember a big black geezer called Ali in the early 70's - I didn't see him much at home matches, more the away games. He managed to get the Chelsea to stick together after the game at Sheffield Wednesday in 1973, which saved our arses. No mean achievement back then when large numbers of Chelsea tended to disintegrate into smaller mobs and do their own thing.
Mickey Alagoa aka the General most times carried an automaic umberlla worked for Roymail mail last time i saw him. Was with him in 1971 at man city when he was whack over the head with a bottle well i think it was a bottleThat would be Ali aka The General.
Anyone heard the story of a Chelsea fan called Jesus who was caught by the home fans and hung by scarves, I think at Anfield but it could have been Old Trafford. This is supposed to have happened just before my time, in the late sixties. I remember talking about it and being told "I think you'll find that was Greenaway", but according to an alternative version Jesus was one of Danny's mates, and definitely not Mick Greenaway.
BB Not sure where Gareth came from but he was distinguishable as he always wore the same black crombie style overcoat for years and was a beardy. That wouldn't be Gareth from North Cheam would it?
That's the one, big fella with a beard (at least in 1973) - nice bloke too.Mickey Alagoa aka the General most times carried an automaic umberlla worked for Roymail mail last time i saw him. Was with him in 1971 at man city when he was whack over the head with a bottle well i think it was a bottle
Ah, the Gareth I knew also supported Septic (we often rowed about it after a few beers) and had quite a few tattoos including one of a black panther on his forearm.BB Not sure where Gareth came from but he was distinguishable as he always wore the same black crombie style overcoat for years and was a beardy.
