Is it not too insensitive to ask who was deemed as the TOP man.?    Ive seen DH in action.....Thinking man. Brave. Good man manager..........................Ive seen B in action.....Well balanced, tough seemingly fearless.Good squad.......................Ive seen SH in action....Intelligent....fast. brave.kowledgable...............Ive never really known who was deemed the best. If best can be ascertained as they were good in their own rights.........The most exciting for me was SH......My apologies if this isnt au fe to discuss

Found that picture of us at Grimsby DAZZA...In it there is Martin...Me in the middle  and you with your flash white hat...Will put pic on here soon

Had a drink with Colin Saturday night for a Chelsea Boys 50th,over in Egham watching a Sex Pistols Tribute Band!

Just stumbled across this thread.Talk about blast from the past.Recognise you rumpole from that picture of you with the bay city roller look.I had the same hairsyle back then.Ive got more of a kojak type head now.Talking of which I remember the chelsea version well(rip) as I do bill finney(me and him in the popside derby once),colin daniels(hounslow)Gareth(tartan hat)and of course danny,babs,hicky etc.Others that spring to mind ,Ginger pimlico,scotty,sean ofarrell,little tommy ,Robbo from stockwell? and many more.Great days fantastic memories.

Only just read this thread remember Julian really well every over word was maaannnn!!!   used to wear a dirty camel hair coat  and was scared of crossing bridges over water he's in the picture with B and DH going up the escalator at Tottenham Hale in 1978

B all day long preferred the pub much better than route marches around some god forsaken northern hole with DH

SH was a laugh but I never forget Old Nutty (RIP) chasing him round the old West Stand after he left him behind in Hereford

 
any one remember tank used to stand in the shed end 70's  and 80's  big black man with bald head    gentle giant , was a football coach  sadly passed away in 90's  i think

I remember the Tank ive spoken of having EGO disturbance with the colin all are speaking of above
