Beautiful.
I can also recall a sightly different versionwhen i was looking at this the other day i was really surprised no-one had added the "proper" version of the west ham bubbles song. that's the one without the bubbles!!they fly so high
they reach the sky
but like west ham they fade and die
tottenham always running
arsenal running too
so's the chelsea north stand
running after you
CHELSEA!!
It's still sung from time to time but with the "If you're standing, on the corner......." beginning. What about:'If you come into the Shed End with a red scarf round your neck, Chelsea fans will come and get yer, and they'll break your f**kin' neck'
Sung to the tune of 'The Liver Birds' if I remember rightly
any help?this is the oneanyone can tell us what they say
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSDKkhPa_1I
i mean the whole chanting and not the one in the video
You couldn't understand it?any help?
I would guess Bobby Tambling?ok I am dragging this one out of the memory banks, my dad used to sing it around 1960 ishHis name is Barry Bridges
and (someone someone) too
they're a couple of lads from the Chelsea team
who are top of Division 2.
cannot remember who the second player was in that song - anyone remember?
lol thanks mateYou couldn't understand it? It was just the right side of The Shed End chanting "We're the right side, we're the right side, we're the right side of the shed!" And then others replied "We're in the middle, we're in the middle, we're in the middle of The Shed!"
Did make me laugh though!
I stand to be corrected but if memory serves you've only got one word wrong. Mile End used to be sung where you've put Westham. Mile End being their naughty boys at the time. That's the version I knew...
