Alright then so if this is the B side outfield players:

Azpi---Kalas---Brana---Cole

--Mikel----Matic---Lampard

Salah-------------Schurrle

------------Ba-------

Then the A team would be?:

Brana----Cahill-----JT----Azpi

-------Ramires------Luiz

Willian-----Oscar----Hazard

------------Etoó

Think it may be Luiz and Ramires only due to Lamps and Mikel being banned and Matic being cup tied though.

How did Athletico get on today? Not wishing ill on any of their squad but any casualties of note?

Good God, what a dilemma, which team to pick ?

A or B, or maybe a bit of A and a hint of B, or why not just give C a go ?

I'm already nervous for this one, I don't think either team is going to want to chase the game but unfortunatly we need to at some point, we get the first goal we go through.

Team picks itself if everyone is fit, we don't really have many options for who to play with the suspencions injuries and the cup tied players.

                                Schwarzer

Ivan                   Cahill             Jt( if not fit ivan)         Azpil

                       Ramires       Luiz

Willian                        Oscar                    Hazard

Eto( torres if eto doesn't make it)

3 more sleeps, then another torturing work out for the heart, it got that bad today I could actually feel my pulse in my throat.

Strangely more apprehensive about this 2nd leg than I was for the one vs PSG.

Feel like complacency from our supposedly great result away to Atletico may cause us to concede a sloppy first goal of the game, at which point the first leg result won't look so good after all.

I don't think we have a lot of choices for this game, likely to be:

GK

Cesar Ivan Cahill Cole

Luiz Mikel

Willian Oscar Schurlle

Torres

Hopefully Hazard will play a part. Given Ba played 80 minutes , I think he would come off the bench

Getting the same feeling, however still think we can prevail.

2-1 to Chelsea.

Extra Time.

Torres comes on for Eto'o and scores the winner, sending us to Lisbon.

Anyone?

0-0 for 90 mins then 3 goals in the added time period where Atletico know they could hold a score draw and go through on away goals?

Well this is Chelsea, this is Stamford Bridge and this is the Champions League so anything is possible.

Atletico didn't rest anyone and really had to grind out a 1-0 win against Valencia after our game, hopefully that plus the fact they're travelling will give us the edge physically.

Gabi is suspended, and being their captain and the fact he's played virtually every game in all competitions this season will hopefully reduce their mental toughness a bit too.

Should be a great game.

Can see it being a very tight and tactical affair. They seem the closest thing to us that Spain has to offer. They are a proper team, from front to back working hard for each other.

Have the utmost respect for them and their abilities. With that said, we can still beat them and get to Lisbon.

I'll be very interested to see how we approach this. Whether we play a similar style to our last 2 games or if we take it to them.

In many ways this is the easier leg for them. SB is a bad place to visit but they can finally play their game. We gave them their own medicine back at Calderon. We need to open up a bit.

Eto'o is our "secret" weapon here as he is pretty good in front of our fans. Getting Haz back is massive. I'd like Jose to play Oscar. He's been good in these CL games.

I have a feeling they will score first and after 75mins it is us chasing the 2-1 goal...

Its going to be interesting to see how we play if we score an early goal. If we do, I hope we push for the second goal. This one will have a lot of dramas in it
