Nervous for this one. I think the game will be decided by a mistake or abit of magic. It will be touch and go us getting through.

If Ath Madrid score first, I wouldn't fancy us scoring 2 goals against them.

 
Im already biting my nails before this one...

We can dream... 3 european finals in 3 years? just the thought is wow. Shame we dont have the history.

 
Resting less players, travelling and a lack of European experience will make this a very tough game for them, we need to exploit all of these weaknesses to get to Lisbon.

 
Jose said post Liverpool that 0-0 wasn't a good result so that means he is expecting a tough game and I'm sure he knows Atletico has the advantage on tactics.

He is right, it was not a good result imo. The away goal advantage is firmly with them. We thought in 09 the 0-0 at the Camp Nou was a good result and, in the end, we were wrong to think that. I wont forget those games and the first leg against Atletico brought the memories back.

That is why this is our hardest game of the season, the only advantage we now have is being at the Bridge, where we are normally very good. Atletico are happy enough away from home though so is not a massive advantage.

 
Hope we are as good as we were back then in the home leg...without another Ovrebo naturally. We were absolutely bullying them back then, Barca that is.

 
Not having an away goal could really damage us...I will be watching in hope more than expectation...Whatever happens we've had a great run...I don't even feel nervous as I'm not expecting too much...

Willian is the big risk. Still think they should change this rule for the final

We all know how tough this will be but we are one win away from the final.I would have taken the draw,goal less or not from the first leg.The table says they are the best team in Spain at the moment.Lets get behind the team from the off and make it another special night at the Bridge.COME ON YOU BLUES!

 
The problem I can see is that we need to win, Athletico can live wih a score draw. We are two very similar teams in terms of work ethic and discipline, I really think this was the one of the 3 semi finalists we didnt want, Real and Bayern like PSG will try and play against us which would allow us opportunities, Athleti would be different.

Theres an addage which is playing in Loserpools favour at the moment, teams dont attack Chelsea because they dont think they can score, we then have a brick wall to break down without the personnel to do it. EVERYONE believes that they can score against Liverpool, mainly because they can, which means they are more lax and Liverpool will outscore them. Bayern and Real will believe, Athleti know they will have to be compact and patient. If they score first we are f**ked, they will shut up shop and theyll do what we did to Liverpool.

It will be another close game and the Papers on thursday will be full of "Chelsea play AntiFootball". Heaven forbid that Jose even mentions Athletic parking as much as a bicycle infront of the goal.

 
story in the media this morning that Simeone is saying that the La Liga title is a higher priority for Atletico the the UCL - is he doing a Jose? or might this just be true?  he played a full strength side at the weekend and has 2 games left to win the title one of which is against Barca
