Tough one for them.

CL means tons of money.

Then again a weeks rest didn't exactly do us much good against PSG mind.

I thought that at first but then we were away for PSG whereas for Spuds we're at home.  :biggrin:

 
It's not the journey I meant it's the whole playing away and setting up differently.

Well we aint playing at home either, it's Wembley so it will be half and half. I know what you mean though that it's London so will be able to train where we are and it will feel more like a home match.

Away ties really don't matter too much so long as it's not a long journey like Ukraine or Russia etc.

 
Ok..We will be playing a good spud team with christianson and kane in it...We will be hopefully at full strength physically and mentally, and with the periods we have between games, is a banker for this tough game going our way...JT lifting our trophy while spud fans disappear from the ground quickly will be a great sight.....We need to make plenty of noise to drown out the impressive but (for me anyway) annoying marching song from spuds..IMO..3 1 to us

 
This match has gotten much more difficult now without Matic. Unbelievable. I'd go for rami, Cesc, ake in a 4-3-3. With William, costa and hazard up top.

Another big game for John Obi Mikel the Tottenham slayer? If anything I'm more confident than ever (plus it's the perfect time for his screamer)

The last time we played Ramires and Fabregas as the midfield two in the cup we conceded three goals in 15 minutes to Bradford.

 
I'm going to this game but right now I feel so gutted that I can't get excited for it. That may change in the coming days.

 
This game will require some radical changes for a win. Ramires and fabregas together don't work (bradford) . I'll dare suggest this:

Cech

Ivan/Zouma/Terry/Azpilicueta

Oscar/Fabregas

Cuadrado/Willian/Hazard

Diego Costa

Or even put Fabregas higher up and put Ramires with Oscar.

 
Gotta start Mikel ai'm afraid, at times he has had some brilliant performances, fingers crossed this is one of them

Can see Jose setting up more defensively for this one.

 
This has been an excellent season but recently we've just stumbled a little, which is understandable, City did the exact same thing last year for a bit after we beat them at the Etihad. This is a game that we must win. It would give the players great confidence and with  a slightly easier run-in than City, we could hopefully surge on and win the league.

Of course it's Chelsea, and we never do things easily, and without Matic things are going to be incredibly difficult; but if the players give 100% then we can get past a very decent Spurs side.

 
When Mikel puts in his standard big match performance in this one I don't want to see any further criticism of him, great servant to the club.
