How does maresca picking him make me an idiot.

Acheampong will be ten times the player he is. The boy has made a couple of errors in our calamitous defence recently but at least the boy attempts to head the ball. At least he has spatial awareness.

 
Looking forward to reading about the Enzo Maresca "tactical masterclass" on the club web site later on, and how well we controlled the game, with a MotM performance from our captain Enzo Fernandez, and Garnacho always "threatening" from left wing.

Shocking selection.. all strangers on the pitch.. a team that looked a patched up group.. no composure or quality in the final third.. no triangles or patterns of play.. pointless sideways passing.. CBs if bottom half quality and relegation material keeper.. pointless signings and over spending.. don’t understand where this club is going under this management and coach..

 
There was so much wrong with that game that if I was a Benfica fan, I would be livid to not take anything away from it.

Standout worst moments were Enzo Fernandez throughout, Maresca shuffling the back 4, Garnancho's Hollywood shot (happened every game at United) Gittens (like watching a combination of Bakayoko and Saul) and that terrible music when we scored a goal, it makes us look like a Championship club.

Whatever, take the 3 points, and resume the moaning another day.
