From what i can hear its like a Fernabache home game!

 
i missed the 1st half except for what bits 5live would tell me -

how is it looking? i see hilario is on - carlo's pulled a muscle?? man our keeper luck is just ridiculous!

This is worrying me. Mainly because it is mirroring the 1st leg so much. Not just in terms of the fact that we went 1-0 up early and didn't capitalise on that. Also because, like the first leg, our early success was built on the fact we pushed them high up the pitch and pressured them into mistakes, and then our midfield we started to defend deeper allowing them to make easier passes and string things together.

Add to that the fact that we now have a nervous looking Hilario in nets and Ashley Cole's concentration would have me prescribing him amphetamines and I am bloody nervous!

 
Spt on summary there Loz, though would add the fact i think Lampard has been shocking.

We need to step it up - this is a Champions League QF!

I said i would be angry if we got knocked out to this mob, but if we got knocked out to this mob playing like we did for the last half an hour of the first half i will be furious.

 
Frustrating, irritating. Picky, inconsistent refereeing - why wasn't that foul on Drogba given? The crowd booing at half time - w**kers - that minutes silence? Sorry no offence, but what was it - the former head of the Dutch FA has got to do with it is beyond me? Sometimes I think this minute's silence business gets overdone. And the game of course, started brightly enough, I'd hardly settled down to watch it and we were a goal up. But then, Carlo goes off injured, early promise isn't fulfilled - you're right, I'm as nervous as hell. We need to score another couple to be anything like comfortable.

 
Agree regarding Lampard's performance. Lucky for us that Ballack has been playing very well to compensate.

i think the booing was the Fernabache fans Lofty. They were booing every time we got the ball. Though i cant be sure, after all you know the type of twats we get up the Bridge these days.

Btw, I think players can hear me cheering back here from Bosnia than from people at the Bridge! The crowd support is not there!!

 
I am hoping and praying that Avram is going to show an ounce of kahones in that locker room, let the team have it, and get them psyched coming out for the second half. Unless they are a hopeless bunch of mercenaries like everyone tells us, they shouldnt have to be motivated to know they can and should win this game.

But im not hopeful of Grant doing anything of the sort. This has got to be up to the players on the pitch holding themselves accountable

The fans there tonight must know this is the time to make themselves heard. When the team needs it most

Fenerbahce have been pretty well awful for all but 25 minutes of the 2 legs so far. Yet we are still hanging on by a thread on our away goal. Even if we go through I'd hardly say it is much to be encouraged about. This should have been even more comfortable than the Olympiacos game.
