Pedro and Remy carrying little injuries according to Jose, says he isn't going to risk playing them for this match.

 
Falcao story about returning to Monaco in Jan rubbished.....unfortunately!

 
Remy and Pedro ruled out with minor injuries. 

Hazard might find himself with an immediate chance of redemption.

We might well see a Brazilian trio behind the striker, but Kenedy will probably not be a part of it. Willian on the left, Oscar in the middle and Ramires on the right.

Well, if a little bit of samba magic is what it takes to beat Kiev, then so be it! 

 
Why is Oscar in the doghouse? I thought he has played good when he has been on the pitch. Ok, maybe his finishing is not where it should be, but IMHO more Oscar for CFC better the results.

 
Would love to see Hazard back in the fold ready to work both ends of the pitch:

A draw wouldn't be the worst result.

 
Do Kiev play on Grass or artificial 4g as this might have a baring on team selection. Players with knee and back issues struggle on artificial surfaces. Cahill missed an England game for this reason.

Jose wants work rate above all else. That should help.

 
I think this and the west ham game are massive games because i think we need to keep it tight and grind out some results like against villa. Try not to concede and hopefully a bit class from someone will bag us some goals.

We aren't going to be totally back to normal straight awayy it will take few solid performances and good results to get confidence in the team to start firing on all cylinders and show our class.

We need to use the gmes like i said above so that when it comes to liverpool we can get a good win and really turn our season around.

I think that jose's decisions on hazard have been good, hazard hasn't been playing well and as much as I don't want to lose him i think that as a professional it is better to be challenged and realise your not untouchable.

 
I'd be happy with a draw here.

Their 10 last European games at home they've lost one and apparntley were on a 38 game unbeaten streak at home until Shakhtar beat them in the weekend.

Take the point here and then beat them at home.

 
Since Pedro is out, it's only logical to play Hazard, reinforce the midfield with Ramires and we should be fine. I believe it will be safety first, a draw will be decent, although I'm not feeling all that confident beating them in the return leg (without seeing them in actions)

 
Tough game ahead. Our struggles will continue. We might still win though but it wont be pretty. I think Jose will park it here and hope for a goal from corner.

 
I see some of our boys have been ambushed in Kiev, got a good beating apparently. Obviously our lads will now go hunting revenge, and we will be back in the news.
