Fantastic news!

He's racked up 147 appearences at 24 years of age. This may be obvious given my forum name, but I'm so impressed with the way that he's developed. He really seems to embrace the responsibility he has within the team, along with his growing status as an icon of the club.

And going by our transfer dealings over the last couple of windows she's very good at what she does.

Most definitely, she's probably the most powerful woman in football right now.

She also brokered the take over of Vitesse recently too.... No wonder Gourley was sent packing!

Fantastic news and maybe it was related to the new TV deal considering the extra revenue we'd be pulling in would completely change the financial model of top clubs just as this new contract kicked in.

Obviously I love the guy and he's becoming more consistent but there's still that extra level he can reach. But the fact that he'll be here for his prime years is utterly brilliant and reconfirms our status.

Also that photo is interesting because I think I'm correct in saying it's the first time Marina Granovskaia has featured in an official photo (other than her bio photo). Think it's fairly noteworthy that not only do we have a black DoF in Emenalo but also the most powerful woman in world football on our board.

Superb news.

One of Europe's finest set to stay long term with one of Europe's finest.
