Unbelievable comeback, two top teams.

Feel sorry for the Fulham players, horrible match to lose.

Wow, what a game. Always guaranteed goals with Youth tournaments! Superb win by the Chelsea boys.

Amazing performance from the lads, should be proud of themselves. Once again we are proving how good our youth system is at the moment, now just to get some players into the first team to prove it!

What an amazing win, i couldn't see this game so it would be awesome if someone knew where i could find the full match so i can see it.

Surely some of our youth players deserve a chance in the first team, they earn it time and time again.

What a cracking game, well played Chelsea and hard luck Fulham,Some very good players on view for both sides.

Brilliant come-back and win. Watched the latter stages in bed as I had to be up for 4.15 this morning but I nearly kicked the Mrs out of the bed when that winner went in!!

And that was without Boga and Kiwomya who are probably the two players who had done most to get us to the final. Well pleased for Viveash and the boys, though I have to say, that Fulham lad Patrick Roberts is some player. Our players couldn't get near him at times and he already looks better than anything in the Fulham first team. They'll do well to hold onto him.

This morning despite being delighted with the two results last night I am this morning wondering how we're ever going to bring through a defender or goal keeper. Defending at youth level is generally crap (not individual players necessarily but as a team), positioning and communication seem to be non-existent. I don't understand why.

A couple of reasons for poor defending at youth level, the main reason is the fact tactical work, isn't done a great deal before players reach 16. Most the training is spent developing technique, which is much hard to improve when players are older. The second reason it was particularly poor yesterday, is that the team that plays in the FA youth cup team, don't necessarily play or train as group through out the year. So there is some unfamiliarity.

I think theres as much chance bringing through a defender as any other outfield player, much more difficult for goalkeepers though, as any mistake for them ends in a goal, and chances are much rarer in the first teams.

Only just watched the game, had the snooker on last night, great game to watch, disappointed again with Loftus cheek although he did play last week against city, so fatigue may have played a part.

Patrick Roberts was the best player on the pitch, will be interesting to see if he plays for the 1st team next season, now Fulham are playing championship football.

Well done to the boys though, at least we saw a trophy get lifted at the bridge this year. Hopefully next season the senior will follow suit.

Incredible stuff, what spirit.

We've really grown a never say die attitude throughout the whole club.

Hopefully now do the double with the U-21's next week.

Really liked what I saw from Solanke. Thought his movement was good and his ability to link up with his back against the goal was very good. Should be exciting to watch him develop.

Loftus-Cheek had another subpar performance imo. Poor on the ball and looks really disinterested in getting the ball back.

Here's the post match interview from the coach on the official FA Cup Youtube channel, the highlights aren't up yet so check again later on the channel.

Congratulations to the lads & Adi Viveash and his team.

Well played Fulham, I thought they put in a superb effort & in truth, would have won that game 8 times out of 10.

But not this time though!.....and that is down to the tremendous character shown by those lads yesterday and great management by Adi.

One suprising fact I found looking at the statistics of the F.A. youth cup, is that only five teams in the history of the competition has held the senior & the youth versions of the F.A. cup at the same time.

Ourselves, Arse, Everton, Coventry & the Dippers.

But, we are the first & only team so far to have done it twice!.

I thought it was only other teams that made 'istory or call themselves  the 'Academy of football' .

To be fair, you don't have a great track record with your "boys for the future" Nibs

Too easily seduced by a bit of flair!

That's harsh ES. You still don't reckon Josh will make it then? I'll tell him that when I buy my Big Issue off him at the weekend......!!
