Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2026/27

Hate Spurs, but I did not want United to win this one. This is the United of last season, bar Lady Luck. They have been dog turd for a long while, but lucky late goals and wonder matches from their GK made people believe they really were the 3rd best club in the country last season. They are bang average and Cunha and Mbeumo are some of the most overrated players in this league.

If I didn't know any better I would say that the Man Utd don't look properly match fit. Looked like us under Potter, second to everything. Lucky for them that Tottenham are f**king dreadful or they'd have been tonked.

They looked underdone in the first half but reckon that was down to Spurs' pressure. Spurs should have been out of sight. Solanke pathetic. Bizarrely, from the second half kick off Spurs' intensity disappeared, handing MU the initiative. All relative, of course. Two poor teams. Carrick was found out at Middlesborough for his inability to manage in-game tactics. He just lets things run. MU get it wrong again.

The Liverpool vs City match is being built up like a good vs evil thing, but City could cheat for 100 years and I would still prefer them to win over Liverpool. There is nothing worse in football than Liverpool fans acting all sanctimonious. I will take a Haaland hand of god moment right now.

Delap had 2 chances to put Forest 0-2 up......Crystal Palace then score two goals. Amazing how we got so much money for him.

Yeah proper botched those chances. That’s the difference between elite strikers and average strikers.

Yeah Liverpool fans are sanctimonious as they are. Would be brilliant for them to lose.

If we aren’t winning it, I’d love for City to win the league and give the two fingers up to the FA, PL and all the sanctimonious pricks circling around the issue as if they’d never done anything wrong.

Never mentioned....The Moore's family wealth bankrolled Liverpool ( and Everton) from the 1960s .....

Sir John Moores' family wealth significantly benefited Liverpool FC by providing financial support that allowed the club to invest in player transfers and infrastructure, leading to unprecedented success during the 1960s and 1970s. This investment helped Liverpool become one of the most dominant forces in European football.

Don’t understand the signing, and it’s the classic one where you are better off standing still than signing rubbish. He is on a reported £250k/w wages, how do you even shift that? They were better off just continuing developing Ngumoha
Plus what about Ekitike when he comes back. He was pretty effective coming off the left flank.
