Ivanovic to Monaco?

Monaco can piss off with their money. Ivanovic is staying, he's a winner, not someone who goes to a club that has just been promoted.

 
There is no way they are going to offer £25m for a 29 year old defender.... Pure fantasy of a story. 

 
Anyone wonder if his agent is leaking the story to get Brana a new contract?

 
I wouldnt blame him if he wanted one last big pay rise. Also who wouldnt want to live in Monaco? I think Monaco will out shine PSG in a season or two. They will pay just as much for players and wages and isnt Monaco tax free?

We will see some very big names in football go there in a year or two. I dont think Ranieri will last very long as coach there though.

I could see Pep go there after Bayern. Its right up his street, only one other team to really beat each season to the title. He loves that sh*t! He wouldnt ever go to England as he will be shown up!

 
He has won every major trophy in England + the CL/EL, Monaco is beautiful and the payment will be very tempting, I know I wouldnt hesitate if I were him.

Especially if we get 25m as a part of the deal as well.

 
The papers this morning are saying that Monaco are trying to snap up Ricky C on a free after he has been dumped by Madrid.

 
I wouldnt be shocked either. Same when Roman first came, we paid over the odds for every player, still do most of the time.

 
Monaco are the new Paris Saint-Germain.

Literally every single day there is a new player linked with Monaco with a ludicrous price-tag attached.

They don't appear to be paying over the odds for players so far.

The two guys from Porto, the fees sounded about right. The £50m for Falcao is the fee reported for about a year for all interested clubs and then rumoured to be wanting Valdes and Carvalho on free transfers.

£25m for Ivanovic seems a really high fee. 

 
I would keep him since he can play right back and center back equally well.Even though 25 mill for his age should be taken seriously.If we do sell him who would be buy to replace him?

Wouldn't be hard to reinvest that 25 million into another top notch centre back. I'd love hummels, he's been a bit off this season at times, but I watched him last season and he was absolutely exceptional. Bonucci is another one i'd consider getting, a good, tough tackling presence on the field.  I love brana, but he's aging and an offer like that would suit both parties pretty well I think. He gets a big payday and we get a nice lump of money to reinvest in a younger player

 
Monaco's locker room is going to get very full. The club might want to invest in additional coathangers and such.

I want Ivan and his buttocks to stay... :-(

Yeah i agree both sides would profit from this,but then again if we don't manage to get a good replacement it could be costly for us.

 
If Ivan wasnt tempted to go to Real Madrid with Jose, I doubt he is going anywhere now.

If its an agent's tactic, he will get the salary he wants. He's too important to this team now.
