Sweden midfielder Kim Kallstrom  set to join Arsenal from Spartak Moscow on loan til the end of the season.

Dani Osvaldo set to join Juventus on loan until the end of the season (spotted sporting a rather fetching bowler hat).

Berbatov is on his way to Monaco on loan for the rest of the season, Lewis Holtby leaving Spurs to join Fulham on loan to the end of the season.

Lots of loans if you hadn't noticed.

thought he was sporting a monocle at first

Arsenal fans will be pissed off and call for Wenger's head when they sign nobody this window and then lose to Crystal Palace over the weekend.

Don't those muppets hanging around the Crystal Palace training ground have school today?

Sherwood reckons no signings for Spurs today... Surprising seeing as Defoe is off to the US before long.

Kevin Doyle has joined QPR on loan for the remainder of the season.

I didn't even realise he had stayed at Wolves and was playing in League 1, he didn't look completely out of place in the Premier League for them despite how rubbish they were.

Kakuta on the move?

BBC World Service Sport's Steve Crossman: "The European transfer deadline day tapestry is once again weaving its way into England.

"Reports in Italy suggest that Chelsea's Gael Kakuta could replace Inter Milan bound attacking midfielder Hernanes at Lazio.

"Chelsea fought so hard to get him in 2009 - I can't see them trying quite so hard to keep him now."

Slight correction there ForeverCarefree, Canadians certainly don't like being compared to Americans (no offences to our US cousins), we just love cross border shopping!

My apologies my maple sauce loving friend, I thought the MLS was only made up of American sides, didn't realise it also had Canadian teams.

Having looked further into it further I see he's joining Toronto FC, which even with my limited knowledge of Geography I know is in Canada.

Tell me about it.

I asked a mentee I see every week where he was from "What part of the states are you from?"

He glared daggers at me and said "I'm from Toronto."

..."f**k".

Arsenal apparently made a loan bid for Kalou which was rejected:

Sky Sports understands that Lille have rejected an approach from Arsenal for Salomon Kalou.

The 28-year-old former Chelsea striker was understood to have been approached by Arsenal and an unnamed German club.

But Lille have blocked Kalou from leaving due to the fact they could not find a replacement at such short notice.

The Ivorian forward was known to be keen on making the move back across the English channel, having spent six productive years at Stamford Bridge.
