Absolutely gutted. I truly believed Roman was going to give him until the end of the season to turn things around. Players should hang their heads in shame. Bunch of overpaid prima donnas

 
And when the players quality of performance inevitably improves when the new manager arrives I'll be left thinking why couldn't you have done this for personal pride, for the fans, for the club?

Would like to see a lot of this squad shown the exit come the end of the summer, serious questions to ask in the wake of all this.

 
I feel gutted, but it's 100% the right decision.

Jose hasn't been Jose this calendar year, I think the illness with his father is affecting him far more than he would ever admit.

Thanks again Jose, you'll always be a club legend!

We've sacked nicer blokes, we've sacked blokes who have had less poor results, we've sacked blokes who should never have been given the job.

Today though the owner shot himself in the foot long term, results might not show that at first but long term we are now looking at second best and lower.

The players betrayed him. I'd happily never see most of them wear the badge again. Their attitude summed up the other night as they raced straight down the tunnel, apart from 3. Pathetic and unprofessional, they are not Chelsea.

 
Gutted to see Jose gone. But I think this was inevitable after he sacked Eva. All went downhill from there. Brendan Rodgers with Carragher as number 2 for me. Kick out the deadwood. We want our Chelsea back

Look at our squad and look at our league results. The patience shown is unprecedented. He was given a vote of confidence more than two months ago and the form hasn't improved.

Sacking ancelotti after a 2nd place finish in the tunnel after the final game having sacked his assistant and replaced 5 first team players with kids at the start of the season was a disgrace.

This is not.

If the players perform on Saturday it'll say a lot (and not in a good way) about the players, but nothing about the manager.

 
It's sad, i was desperate for Mourinho to be the one to get us out of this mess, but i'm not entirely surprised.

I don't blame Mourinho completely for this, the players are responsible too. No matter what tactic's were being played, they should have done better than this, the squad isn't mentally strong enough. But saying that, Mourinho built this squad, this is his team, he should have got the players that suited his tactics. Mourinho has refused to budge on his tactic's this season, he has stuck with the same failing formation and style of football, he has had no answers for this mess. He would change players here and there, but not the formation or the style. Mourinho has gotten many things wrong this season, it's just sad he couldn't turn it around. Would he have eventually turned it around ? i have no idea, all i know is that there has been no signs of things changing.

 
Nooooooo.... I would accept Frank Lampard, John Terry, Didier Drogba and Ashley Cole deciding manager's destiny but not Fabregas, Hazard and Oscar. These f***ng c*nts. Wish them all the worst.

The key word is interim.

He is safe hands and knows the club.

I assure you results with improve (how could they not).

We may even get top half!
