We better get him back to chelsea to strengthen our midfield / defence . He looks good to be given a fair run in the chelsea first team !
Need anyone who is capable of playing right back. Now is his chance.

Are we able to get him back in January? I thought he was on a season long loan. I'll be surprised to see him back before the summer.

If he doesn't mind playing a couple of games up front, scoring a few long-rangers and being a general beast he could take up Belletti's role in the squad.

I like Mancienne but don't believe he's Chelsea quality.

I prefer Bruma and van Aanholt who I believe have tremendous potential.

How is the captain of one of England's youth teams not Chelsea quality? He is ahead of Bruma, in my opinion. Much more versatile.

He's 22 now though, I think if he was going to break into our team it would have happened by now, rather than him being loaned out all the time.

I dont really dislike Mancienne but I cant really see him making it at Chelsea. Anyways if he accepts playing a small role .. his versability would be useful

he wont make it as a Centre Back in the prem, just not physical enough. But he has done a decent job as DM apparently, and can play right back so if he was happy to take a place as a squad player then he could return.

He's staying with Wolves for the rest of the season:

Wolves boss Mick McCarthy said: 'There was a deadline for Chelsea to recall Michael and that's passed. 'He hasn't been recalled and he's our player to the end of the season.

'That's good news - but it will be even better when he's fit and at the moment he's still undergoing his rehab.

'He's having that back at Chelsea and our physio is in contact with their physio. '

'He'll be out for a total of six weeks. That's where we're at with him

Very unfortunate to see him out injured considering that Craddock too has been out for long periods and he would have probably got a start as a CB and prove himself. Hopefully he'll be back soon and relive the form that he had at the end of last season.

If we're not going to give him a chance now with our much reduced squad and injury problems it is hard to see when he will ever get one. I reckon his destiny almost certainly lies with another club after this season.

with luiz in aswell as alex and terry the squad i cant see mancienne getting many opportunity's and its not fair to keep loaning him out, we should sell him on and allow him to persure what im sure will be a top quality career as he's certainly got talent. Its a shame he has never been given time at chelsea.

I thought Mancienne's best spot was RB? He could be a good person to consider filling in for Boswinga. Ivan can start at RB and Mancienne can back him up and play CB or the holding spot if we need him. It is a possibility that saves us the money that we would spend on a RB if Bossy leaves.

You are right ! Mancienne is quick as well . I hope chelsea management gives a serious thought to this idea and save money

Some strong rumours going around that he is linked with a move to Hamburg for 3.5 million Euros. Nothing official yet but if it is indeed true it would possibly be a win-win situation for all the parties involved.

Officially moved to hsv for around £3m. Good luck to him, will be keeping an eye out for his performances, i would be more than happy to see him prove me wrong on him.

Fair play to him for going abroad, not enough English players do so. To be honest he has yet to develop into the top drawer defender he looked like he could have been 2-3 years ago, but I do wish him all the best in Germany :JC_doubleup:

Lucky our youth policy is on track! Mancienne gone and Borini about to leave...utter bo**ocks and I have said it all along this team does not have a youth policy because it doesn't have the patience, we breed youth to be traded or sold...not to play regularly in the first team as we would rather buy our way to the top.

Out of curiosity, who made the decision to sell Mancienne? Correct me if I am wrong, we don't have a manager.
