Now i can see why Benfica fans thought he was the best DM in the world.

[barak81]

Scary thing is I still think he is playing with in himself, I think he has it in him to really stamp him self on a game (more so then he has already) and as he gets used to the team and becomes a more senior figure (in his own  mind) he will dominate teams

[Paul70]

In all honestly Benfica was a fantastic move for him. It allowed him to develop his technical ability and actually get games in a top team

Benfica are amazing at bringing through young players and developing them

why can`t we send our young players to benfica for further development.

An Upgraded Vitesse? haha

Going on one of his interviews, Jorge Jesus deserves a lot of credit for the time and effort developing Matic specifically.

He's still a c**t though.

The thing is he's actually started fairly slowly this season compared to where he was last year. Can only get better.

I was thinking that.

He's not really been at that standard so far this season.

[Surf]

Thought he played well yesterday especially second half

I did too, he was a bit more aggressive, it's something i think we have lacked so far this season.

Nice interview with Matic here.

He says when he doesn't know what to do he just passes to Hazard lol.

[evissy]

One of our core. Add some goals and assists to that and you have one of the best midfielders there is. I love how humble he is an a true gent. Hope we can keep him till he retires.

To be fair to him I think a lot of our players do that.

I have a birthday tomorrow, same as him. Noticed only today. I hope we both will celebrate against Arsenal.

Just read this on Pride of London:

http://theprideoflondon.com/2015/08/04/chelsea-fcs-nemanja-matic-joins-twitter-looks-awkward-with-football/

They said Matic looks akward and is not photogenic, I'm so sick and tired of those guys at Pride of London. I saw some photos of those clowns and they are fugly as hell. Matic looks like a supermodel compared to them.

[the special one]

First and last time i've come across the site tbh.
