Moises Caicedo to Chelsea! "Official"

Good news.

Caicedo is back in training after suffering a minor calf injury.
Alonso indicated that he doesn't want to rush him back so I suspect we will be cautious here. Maybe on the bench against Hull and in with a possible chance to feature against Brentford?

Followed by full games and travel for Ecuador

Thank god

I saw twitter rumours saying he'll be out until Christmas, have we had any real updates about the severity of his injury?

Alonso suggested, however, he was close to featuring against Brentford, but there was little need to risk him ahead of the international break and he was once again left off the team sheet.

Three weeks of recovery and conditioning should have him fit and firing when the squad reconvenes at Cobham.

Potential return date: October 10 vs Bournemouth (H)

Not been in first team training yet. Has led to some speculation his injury is far more serious than the club has let on. Would not be the first time.

And there’s me hoping this thread was bumped as he had returned to training.

Nope, injured and collecting license points and fines. Swear there is something off with Cobham these days!

It’s because you crazy English require drivers to operate the car from the wrong side of car and to drive on the wrong side of the road.

There is literally no excuse for this sort of thing. If they are incapable of sorting out the basics of getting a car insured, at least get the agent to earn his money and make sure all legal.

Modern footballers all seem a bit f**king needy.

Actually, thinking about it, most of these footballers are so wealthy, they could all "self-insure".

Write off their new Lambo? No problem - go out and buy another. Knock someone over - big personal injury claim? No worries mate, how much do you want?

That's what agents are for. Beyond negotiating.

This.

In reality accidental death would rarely pay out more than a million. These guys are beyond the realms of general insurance that the rest of us abide by
