Nation's League 26/27

What a f**k up we made letting Lewis Hall go. Easy to argue that he is currently the best left-back in the EPL.
This old furphy. Let him go? He wanted to go. He declined a new contract. He wanted Newcastle, his family are all Newcastle supporters. Tell us how you think we could have kept him against his will.

Given him more minutes? Told him he was in our plans? Silly old things like that.

No. It's about him, it has always been about him. Him first, team second. Is there a bigger ego in football?
This. I don't understand why he doesn't want to come off the bench. He can still be a hero, he can come in for 10/20 min and "save" Portugal.

Ego. He wants to be like Messi or Modric who are still their team's best player for 90 minutes, but he hasn't been a 90 minute player for 3-4 years tbh.

It's even more egregious because he plays in a team that is much better front-to-back than either Messi's Argentina or Modric's Croatia.

That make sense.
I thought a while ago, it would be easy for him to transition to play as st as he has the physicality to do so but he simply doesn't want to do the dirty job of playing st.

He doesn't have the physicality anymore. He needs the ball served up to him on a plate. His ego blinds him. Last night -v- Denmark proved how much better they are without him.

Is he willing to play with back to goal when CB smash him from behind? No.

Is he willing to contest long ball so his team can go up? No.

All of these are standard demand for st but he does not want to do this. All he want is drift into space and then attack the box.

Especially for a club big on young players but it’s just like Trevor if you’re not a hot name they don’t want you.
Bunch of clowns.
