Spice Girls miming - that's what I call a classy finish to the Olympic games.

Baby, Ginger and posh were completely mimed, Scary and sporty mostly sang.

1 direction mimed, as demonstrated when the blonde guy's earpiece fell out and he went completely out of timing with everyone else and tried to signal to someone what had happened (great professionalism there, what does he expect them to do in the middle of a song?).

Anyhow, those angels were rather nice...

Shame we'll never get told who they are (unless The Sun has a slow news day...)

..or unless a Chelsea footballer shags one of them!

Germany, Holland, Spain and Italy combined Gold medal total = 28 Golds

GBR team = 29 Golds

Suck on that Europe !

Most of the artists looked like they were miming, but you can't really expect much more from "pop stars", none of them can sing, it's all edited to crap in the studio and given all sorts of effects.

I wish Oasis or whoever they are nowadays had mimed though, my god that guys voice is so nasally and horrible.

From what I saw of her, no, not very well.
Wasn't the best version of 'We will rock you', but then anyone singing that will always be sitting in Freddies shadow. She was one of the only ones that sang live and the catsuit definitely helped the performance :connie_oldman_cleanglasses:

I would say though that the girl has superb pipes! Youtube some of her own songs sang live, she has an amazing voice. I would say better than Adele or any other UK female singers at the moment. Her songs are pretty sh*t at the most though and that probably holds her back a bit.

Plus she's from Essex and those lot are amazing...

I've seen both Jessie J and Lady Gaga numerous times in concert, both open air and arena, and both have a cracking set of pipes on them. If people don't like their music, how they dress, how the press perceive them etc then that's fair enough but I go to an awful lot of concerts and they both sing live and both have excellent voices. My opinion of course.
