So after four years and a gazillion spent we’re tenth. If the miracle that is getting Alonso hadn’t happened I’ve had absolutely no hope for the next 5-6 seasons.

 
They are just seeing this out to ensure we don't have conference football. If we happen to nick one from somewhere in the final minutes it still wouldn't be enough.
