Haha! Really cant wait for this game now, out this friday and will probably spend a lot of time on it during the weekend if I get some spare time!

So got Skyrim one day early for PC and it turns out that I cant install it until 00:01 today.. great!

 
Bloody good, why should you be able to play it when I cant. One more day to go..

 
Haha its doing my head in, have the game right here but cant play it - such a tease!

 
That would do my head in too. My mates downloading it from Steam and its ready to go but wont download until tomorrow morning either.

 
Home from work, freezing outside and not feeling 100% so installing skyrim now, wonder how many hrs ill spend on it today haha

 
So I ordered it off Amazon because I had a lot of credits built up there, ended up costing me about 30 bucks. The bad news is that deliveries usually come around 7pm around here, and if I miss it tonight, I'll have to wait until Monday! I think my plan is to stay at home until the UPS man comes, then go out with my friends. My only worry to this foolproof plan is that I get home and create my character drunk and pick something stupid. :laugh2:

 
Got it yesterday and thought I would have a quick blast last night about 8ish. 5 hours later and my wifes ordering me to bed, bloody loving this game. Andreas, what race did you go with at the start?

 
Went for a Nord, you?

Didnt play that much yesterday as I went out and got drunk with some mates but will play it today, just arrived in the 1st city and joined the companions.

 
Yeah, Nord too. Ive just joined the companions and did the first quest for them. Then went for a wander and got battered by a random dragon, bloody sh*t myself when it first swooped down to attack me.

 
I'm Argonian. This games awesome. I've already become a werewolf and killed a dragon. I've barely even scratched the surface of the game too

 
I'm a High Elf, basically taking all my points into magicka. I just went into this dungeon to retrieve a golden claw for this guy, very fun stuff so far!

This game is beautiful too.

 
I did the golden claw one first. The dungeon was quite nice to look at but why does the water run upstream?

Uh because of magic...or dragons...or....just don't question it, ok?

I thought when I started off on that quest that it would be a simple kill 2-3 guys, get back the claw. Then I realized I had to enter the dungeon, and it just kept going on (in a good way). I may spend my entire day playing this game!

Its like that all the time. Ive stumbled on a couple of dungeons and both are totally different and had there own mini quests within. The claw one was very good.

 
Great game. Enjoying it.

I went Redguard. The dual-wield is great especially with their +10 to 1h weapons.

I havent got this yet but i will get it soon. Got saints row to get through first.

I wish it had co-op tho. Co-op games are the way forward. it just gives something extra to the game.

 
Been tempted to play this, but I didn't like that one before it, Oblivion. It's probably a strange criticism, but I felt there was too much to do.. So many little side quests and I could never find my way around nor work out what the hell most of the characters were talking about, so I gave up in the end. Shame because it was probably good if I could have gotten into it.

I was in love with Skyrim for a couple of weeks, but then I got the same feeling you did. It's very overwhelming, and while I know that eventually I'll start playing again, I haven't touched the game in about a month. (I'm also waiting for the PS3 lag issues to get sorted out, but still.)
